For one thing, Sport, I don't think we've seen the last of these investigations. There is an ongoing investigation into the Clinton Foundation and "pay for play". Everyone is familiar with the schemes. Just a few random examples:
- Tens of millions in donations in donations from countries like Quatar, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco. All together, we are talking about over $50 million. Nobody with half a brain believes these are particularly altruistic nations. While Hillary is ostensibly a champion of women's rights, she shamelessly accepts these donations from countries that throw gays off buildings, stone women to death, and persecute Christians. These countries are not particularly known for their altruism. We all know why they gave this kind of money to the Clintons. Saudi Arabia alone donated over $25 million.
- The Uranium 1 deal....read about this convoluted scheme.
- Bill Clinton's $18 million salary over 5 years for being an "Honorary Chancellor" for a for-profit college. Why, do you suppose?
- While Hillary was Secretary of State, Bill was paid $60 million over 4 years, just in speaking fees.
- Hillary was paid $250K per speech in 12 speeches to big banks, for a tidy sum of about $3 million. What she said to them behind closed doors, was allegedly directly contradictory to what she's said in public forums.
- The Haiti scandal
Whenever anyone from the Clinton camp is confronted with these questions, the answer is practically always: " there's no evidence...."
Notice they don't vehemently deny the allegations.....only the lack of "evidence". The problem they have is that people see this for what it is. The optics stink......they are guilty as sin.
All of this reminds me of "Godfather II".......the Clintons have "lots of buffers". Micheal Corleone used connections to beat the rap.
In the real world, John Gotti beat he rap more than once, but he was eventually brought to justice.
No matter what happens tomorrow, the Clinton cesspool will still be there, and the investigations will continue.

And I agree that investigations should continue. I'm torn on whether it should be the FBI or the BHWBI doing the investigating. Probably the FBI. The BHWBI seems to determine guilt before doing the investigation. And only investigate to support their opinion that was already made.

I personally think that if you add a BIG chunk of the GOP, you would have a MUCH more accurate statement. There is a difference between me and the Dems I know who blindly accept everything that their party says is true.......I an sort through the crap and see the truth for myself.
What I see is an entire emerging ruling class who thinks that they are smarter than we are and do not have to play by the same rules or obey the laws THEY have passed. This ruling class is inhabited by career politicians of BOTH parties and the big money propping them up.
We were given Rights to combat this in our Constitution and most in that ruling class are trying to convince the rest of us that our Constitution is no longer a valid document, a charge lead by our current POTUS who spent his time in Law School studying Constitutional Law, not to uphold it but to find ways AROUND it and to undermine it. If that does not give YOU jd&ez pause, I cannot imagine WHAT would make you question your own BLIND support of your party.. I don't HAVE a party, my allegiance belongs to this country. |

| A further point from the BHW jury. I have seen with my own eyes, testimony that there were at least 11 emails marked confidential on the UNERASED emails on Hillary's server. ONE is illegal and enough to get anyone else convicted. I ask you jd&ez how many does it take to get Hillary convicted?
I was young but remember Nixon's downfall. I remember thinking to myself at that tender age, why are they making such a big deal over something you "knew' both sides were doing? The only difference is his henchmen got caught. And not only was he impeached but he resigned his office knowing that his effectiveness as POTUS was going to severely hampered, so he did what was best for his country under those circumstances. My feeling is that no matter WHO wins tomorrow , he/she will not be able to lead this country effectively due to the opposition/legal issues he/she will face.
In the vein Of Diane Feinstein's speech (which again I saw with my own eyes but has now been removed from the internet...who has THAT kind of power???) we should just bend over and learn to enjoy t because we have no right to defend ourselves.
