| Per their website Muscle Mass is $75 for 80 servings and $140 for 160 servings.
I know when I ordered the 160 servings about a month ago it was $155 for my 4 blend. So you'd be saving $15 for this deal. |

I've had a strange special case broodmare so been on the road a lot. Sorry it took me so long to reply back. I have a broodmare I bought OTT and she came up lame. She has a piece of a needle broke off and floating around/destroying the cartilage in her coffin joint. |

Well it's a pretty big mess. She is only 4. Looks like a coffin joint injection done by an idiot. She was on and off lame in pasture. We never could find a hair out of place and when I brought her in during a more serious bout of lameness, she had a mild founder 2 days later. We got her through that without any lasting damage and had her healed up well enough to make a long bumpy track to the local ranch vet. She took x rays and that is when we saw it. She wouldn't touch it so I scheduled with the big surgical vet and it took 10 days to get in. It was amazing to see the x rays and see how much it moved in that time. x rays showed how destroyed the cartilege is and less than 10% chance of getting the needle out with a $2000+ surgery. Even with it out, he wants to fuse the joint due to the arthritis. So we opted to wait for her to foal in May and we'll fuse the joint then. Her "good" hoof cracked from bearing the pressure. So today my super cool vet welded a washer to a shoe to put pressure against the crack where it needs to be. |

Why in the he** would someone do this... That poor mare, so what kind of pain management are you going to keep her on? And how would they get that broken needle out? Sorry for the questions but I have never heard of this happening, I'm sure it does happen quite a bit, but this is the first for me. prayers for that girl, And its so great when you have a great caring Vet |

She's on Previcox and it is a WONDERFUL drug. I had no idea. We are leaving the needle since it situated itself under the joint. Needle is roughly 1/4 of an inch and the space it is in is about needle width so it is most likely done moving around and so every step pinches that needle piece between her lower coffin bone joints. We were hoping the surgery where they insert a deal with a camera and another incision for the tool to pinch it, but where it is is impossible to get to now. When we fuse, it will just grow bone around the needle and she won't feel it anymore.
