Living Quarters trailer size

My husband and I have decided to sell my current trailer and get a small weekender living quarters since I'm showing so heavily and have really long days. Plus, we can stay in it at quite a few of the weekend shows and save the $300/night hotel fees. I only have 1 horse and will never have more than 1 show horse, so my question is, should I go with a 2 horse or 3 horse? I'm looking at a small 6 ft short wall. The trailers I'm looking at also have a stud divider. That way I can put supplies, etc. in that first stall. The only time I've currently ever wanted a 3 horse in the last 10 years was when I moved out of state. It will be my main trailer. What do you all think? Would you get a 2 horse or a 3 horse? Thanks!

The re-sale is much better on a three horse and it will be easier to find if you are wanting a used one.

Oh a 3 horse for SURE
, if hubby ever wanted to haul a horse with are a friend that extra spot sure will come in handy, and the other extra spot you can haul your feed and hay and shavings in it. I would never get just a two horse, that extra spot will always come in handy one day.

I would hate to ever have to go back to a 2H after having a 3H for the last several years. There is always more 'stuff' than you think when you start going to spend the night.

I got a 3 horse then everybody told me the re-sell would be better on a 4-horse but I really didn't need that to haul only ONE horse!

I would go with a 3 horse. Typically you use the first stall for storage and you still have an extra stall "just in case"

I would go with the 3 horse. A two horse is like kissin' your sister!

This summer I traded off my 4 horse for a 2 horse with a 6ft short wall. I absolutely love it! I pretty much always travelled by myself, sometimes my husband goes along but he doesn't ride. I only ever ride 2 horses at a time so for me it is perfect. I also have a long box pickup so I always have plenty of room for hay and such!
