Now he has his work cut out for him, but he has a GOP majority in the senate and house.
So much to say about this race, looking back, and I don't want to gloat, but I have to say that Hillary telling her supporters to go home and not giving a concession speech says a lot.
I'm so dam glad this is over. |

| Thank HEAVENS! Now he has a lot of work to do. I guess America FINALLY work the hell up!
I'm happy he was elected and I will be even happier if she goes to PRISON (but that will probably never happen).
It's a good thing I didn't bet my life on this as I would have lost. I thought for SURE she would win. |

| Bye bye Clinton machine-love it. I have confidence he will be a good president. I believe he really cares about our country as opposed to the career politicians who just want to line their pockets. |

I am so glad Trump won!! This has been a rollercoaster ride but now I have hope. I loved watching the media squirm and in disbelief as Trump defied all the polls and statistics! It was awesome! |

We were watching CBS and it was funny, they just kept saying what happened Florida. When they announced that he was winning with white, educated females the one guy said WHAT, and they had to repeat it for him. It was great watching them but I sure am tiried now |

Location: Kansas | Stayed up until 2:30 watching the complete coverage. It was so fun and interesting. Trump has changed so much from when he first became the nominee. Much more focused. Megyn Kelly (remember the dust-up) said she had an interview at Trump Tower and Donald was a perfect gentleman.

I hope I am wrong and he is successful and does right by this country that is already great despite his saying it is not. |

ETA: I thought it was a hell of a race. It was interesting to watch. History being made on both sides. America is sick of politicians. The people spoke. There's a clear message when support is that strong.

I think everyone with a sense of objectivity can plainly see America was on a collision course with hell. There are a lot of huge things that need fixing. I can't say for sure if Trump's solutions are the right solutions, but I can easily see the rationale for everything he proposes. He is going to need a lot of help from congress, including Democrats. I actually think Trump might be able to negotiate with the minority party better than anyone.
Trump knows full well that he suddenly finds himself with awesome responsibility on his shoulders this morning. This almost seems like divine intervention to me. ObamaCare can be sh!tcanned. The Supreme Court's gargantuan lurch to the left has been intercepted.
Finally we can slam the door on the insanity of illegal immigration, and so many more solutions.
It will be a relief to see the Obama executive actions thrown out the window.
All the celebrities and star power in the world couldn't outshine Trump. He was the main attraction at his rallies. Hillary had a star studded cast of actors, singers, and political heavyweights at her events, but you can't shine sh!t. No matter how many stars performed at her rallies, she was still the same ugly quacking duck in the clown car at the end of the parade......only attacking Trump, but little mention of her own plan. People noticed. They weren't fooled the way they were in 2008. |
