Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | If so what can you tell me about them, been trying to find info on them googled them and really can't find anything.. I'm kinda looking for a smaller round skirted saddle for one of my horses, hes shorted backed and all my square skirted saddles almost ride on his hips, I went to D&D today here in town looking at saddle's they had one, but not my seat size, wheres the best place to buy one if I decide on one? I was thinking about getting a Martha Josey round skirt but the quailty of the leather and tooling was crap.. And then this Martin BTR caught my eye, how are the stirrups hung on them while riding I like a forward stirrup. |

| I would love to know how you like it if you do...or if anyone has any info on the FX3, I haven't seen that much info, either. Other than what the manufacturer's selling points are. |

Location: Glendive Mt. | I have a Martin FX 3. It has the rounded skirt, and is higher in the front for those horses that drop down. I love it. Great quality. I got mine from Leanin pole arena in Kildeer ND. |

Thank you, I looked up their store but can't get on to the tack page with the saddles, I like what I'm seeing and would love to see what their prices are on saddles, lol.. |

I have been impressed with them from what I have seen on the computer, but our nearest Martin dealer is 156 miles away and I don't know if they have BTR saddle or not to even look at. Needless to say it makes it a little hard to a get a horse fitted, LOL. But if you end up getting one, let us know what you think of it after you ride in it.

Location: Missouri | I sat in a FX3 at Ok City and it really sits you down on your pockets and the stirrups were forward hung. I ride Crown C but I think I will get an FX3 next ... You can get on FB and see what Leanin Pole arena has and if you don't find what you are looking for then check out FC Saddlery out of Harrisonville, MO. Stacey is good to work with you. You can view their saddles on their Facebook pages. |

Stacey with FC Saddlery is so wonderful to visit with about saddles. We discussed the Crown C and the BTR. She has a lot of knowledge on them. |

Location: Wyoming | I had a chance to ride in the BTR test ride saddle for a week and got to make some competition runs in it. The first day I made a run in it my little mare stumbled on first. Usually a move like that on her would throw me forward. This time my butt never moved. I was able to sit square through the entire run, even though I had only rode in the BTR twice. ( I wish I had the video)
In my opinion the BTR rides a lot like the Pozzi Pro or a Merrill. It has forward hung stirrups and has a really secure feeling seat without making me feel like I was trapped. I felt like I was able to ride more correct in it, even at a posting trot. I tried a FX3 and didn't care for it. I'm not sure why either. It sorta felt like I might fall out the front of it. I currently ride in a Crown C 14" seat with a 7" gullet. It sits me okay, but nothing like that BTR. The BTR that I tried was a 14.5". I thought it might be to big for me, but it fit perfectly.
This saddle was life changing. I will order one when I can get the funds together.

Location: Wyoming | I also wanted to add, that I sat in both a FX3 and a BTR at a display. Just sitting in them I liked the FX3 better than the BTR, but once I got them on a horse and actually got to ride in them my opinon changed. The BTR for me was a much better ride and feel. |

Wow that sounds like a nice saddle, I have the Pozzis and love these saddles, but need a round skirt, I know I can get a Pozzi in a round, but like trying a different brand, I also have a Crown C I'm riding this horse in now so I thought I would like to try the BTR in a round skirt on him, sounds like I will like a BTR, hav'nt been running barrels in a while but I like trying something new. Thanks for the feed back realitycheck, that was good. |

I felt the same way about the fx3. Felt great on the stand but the more i made runs in the more I noticed that I was getting chucked forward.
Like the triple creeks I have now but would be curious to try a BTR in the future |

These folks have a lot of Martin BTR and FX3"s in stock, if you know what size you want. |
