Location: North Dakota | UBER is another great app to download. We got a ride from the Mirage to the other end of the strip for around $8 last year. |

Location: Oklahoma City OK | LYFT is a fantastic service! A friend signed me up for it during our stay in Vegas - we both got "credits" and it cost us less than 1/2 including a generous tip to go from hotel to airport for two people as it cost for 1 person to shuttle to hotel upon arrival. AND timely. I checked out of the hotel, looked up the LYFT app on my phone, ordered the ride and by the time I got to the street for shuttle service, he was there. EXTREMELY nice, professional, and the service is fast and slick. So easy to use. Bye bye airport to hotel shuttles or taxis ANYWHERE. |

| Also they have free shuttles to the Thomas and Mack and then back to the hotels after everynight from most of the hotels. This link should bring up the schedule http://www.nfrexperience.com/home/shuttle_faq My mom and I do this for the rodeo, and its super convenient |

| If you've never used Lyft before, they apparently have a promotion going for the NFR. Code RODEO16 gets you a $50 credit! |

Location: Oregon | My sister and I used Lyft while we were down there and it was awesome!! With all the discount codes we were able to use we usually paid around 2.00 - 3.00 (plus tip) for a ride and we used it every time we didn't feel like hoofin it. It was excellent!! |

I did that one year and never again. I missed the shuttle by about 5 minutes and I would have had to wait for over an hour for another. |

Our daughter and her friends did the shuttle to the NFR and then instead of going back to their hotel they went to Gilley's and then took the Lyft back to South Point. Great option over a taxi. |

Every Vegas Taxi has been totally disgusting and I felt I needed a shower after getting out of them. The Shuttles back and forth are in luxury coaches..not a Greyhound bus..LOL |

Exactly. Lyft was awesome because they were newer CLEAN cars and the wait time before a car was in front of us was 4 minutes at the most. |

I have done just about everything for a ride. I have taken the shuttle, monorail, taxi, rented a car, split a limo ride with some folks going to the rodeo, app on the phone, had a hotel employee take us, and even hitched rides with contestants. Bottom line is that there are plenty of rides and people going the same direction as you are.
The biggest PITA out there is security at the airport for the next couple of days after the rodeo is over and trying to get home. |

Location: Phoenix | We did Uber because the $50 credit for Lyft was for new users only.
We took a Taxi TO the T&M (boyfriend's idea) and it was $18. Took an Uber back to the Mirage (my idea) and it was $3. I win. Took $8 to get to the Convention Center. |

Me too! I think it would be scary to be any kind of driver taxi, Lyft, Uber, or whatever. Most everyone would be just fine. I just remember that one either Uber or Lyft driver who was beat up by some crazy drunk. |
