There were many protesters but few faithless electors as Donald Trump won the Electoral College vote Monday — ensuring that the billionaire will become America's 45th president.
An effort by anti-Trump forces to persuade Republican electors to abandon the president-elect came to practically nothing and the process unfolded largely according to its traditions. Trump's polarizing victory Nov. 8 and the fact Democrat Hillary Clinton had won the national popular vote had stirred an intense lobbying effort, but to no avail

| With all Republican states reporting, Trump lost only the two electors in Texas. One voted for Kasich, the Ohio governor; the other voted for former Texas Rep. Ron Paul.
Clinton lost four electors in Washington state — three voted for former Secretary of State Colin Powell and one voted for Native American tribal leader Faith Spotted Eagle.
Several Democratic electors in other states tried to vote for protest candidates but they either changed their votes to Clinton or were replaced

You might be waiting a long time for him to appoint anyone to the humane society since it is a private organization. As to his cabinet appointments I have been doing my happy dance for the last couple of weeks. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Of course now there is a movement afoot to dropping the Electoral College, and switching to the popular vote, in the aftermath of Gore and Hillary winning the popular vote but losing the EC. I find this very amusing, but not at all surprising. The Dems can focus on the high population urban centers, some made up of over 50% minorities.
They can flip off the rural areas and states if that happens.
Hillary lost the election because she was a weak, inept, sh!tty, corrupt congenital liar......and Trump's message resonated. If they held the election again today, Trump would whup her flatulent ass even worse, including the popular vote. Hillary spent $1.2 Billion, to Trump's $600 million. She didn't even visit Wisconsin, and Trump stole it out from under her nose. It was a masterful campaign. He worked his ass off giving as much as 7 stump speeches a day and he never let up. Hillary had all these entertainers and celebrities, along with Bill and the Obamunists campaigning for her and the voters rejected them too. She spent too much time at fund raisers in the Hamptons, while Trump just out hustled her.
Since 11/9, Trump has been busting his ass non-stop. The guy never lets up. This is how many successful people win......hard work. |

Last week or week before last, People magazine had the Obamas on the cover, about how we were saying goodbye. Now I read in this week's issue about people saying they cried while reading that it's time to say goodbye, what wonderful role models they were, how great they were for the country, and how much class they had. . . . Hmmmm, I missed all that I think??? |

Tell us why you don't like his picks........like Barack Obama do you not like military in general and/or successful people who know how to handle finances and budget. Wonder if Donald Trump will go out of his way to visit our troops.....Obama never bothered.
