Wondering if there are many standing at stud? Also what the Tres Seis temperaments are like? There have been a few top barrel horses with his line....any experience of what they are like is appreciated! Thanks!

I bred to Tres Fortunes last year. I LOVE the colt I got. He's a very nice colt. I'll have pics after I pick him up from the trainer this weekend.

I have a Tres Seis Grandson. Nicest, smartest, quietest, most go with the flow horse I have.

I'm a huge fan of Triple Vodka. Besides being probably one of the best bred sons of Tres Seis, he is one of the neatest horses I've ever been around.

There's one standing here in Montana called Tres My Fame. He's out of a daughter of DTF.

I have a friend purchasing a stallion prospect to hopefully stand next year or the year after and he is very promising! I also like Triple Vodka but after a friend had to deal with them when he bred his mare and after complications and how the owner handled it...turned me away from ever giving them my money!

Well, that is interesting. Personally, I prefer to deal with a stallion owner who is glad you are breeding to their horse and tests you with courtesy. Thank you.

And because of that, Triple Vodka was moved to a different breeding farm.

I recently purchased a really nice promising son of Tres Seis out of a proven and producing mare of DTF. Super excited to be able to bring the bloodline close in the Midwest region. I will stand him to a few mares this year.

Yes the place he stands at now, Blanchet Farms, has been wonderful to work with. I got my mare bred with no problems, first try.

Hallie Hanssen will be running a son this year out of Famous Silk Panties.  I like his style.

So was this with the Owner of the stud that gave your friend a hard time are was it problems with the owners of the farm that the stud was standing at?

Not sure if Im allowed to say names on the forum, but it was the owner Renee. Terribly rude lady, I was uncomfortable just listening to the phone converstation and voice mail afterwards... Blanchet Farms was awesome (when he called to do the rebreed) as was the girl in charge of the breeding farm and really wanted to help but TV was uncooperative in collecting and so it just didn't work out. I wouldn't be saying this if I hadn't heard first hand what she was like, and then had 6-10 other people come forward and tell him they had the same experiance with her. He's on this forum but Im not sure how active but he can probably shed more light on the topic :) He's a great stud and has great offspring so nothing against him!
