Location: Southern Alabama | Ladies... I need some help. There was an ad posted on here, that is now deleted for an AQHA mare. Name is 'Seekin Shady' (Lexi).... Sorrel mare, imported from Canada ( I had her imported) Does anyone know this horse? I owned the mare but, life forced me to sell her. I was supposed to get first right refusal if the woman I sold her to, sold her. Didn't happen that way.

I sent in the papers and transfer sheet to AQHA and had them put in my name. When I sold her, I gave signed AQHA transfer sheet and current papers with my name on them. |

Wow I have never heard of something like that happening. I would be calling AQHA today and ask them about this..Maybe in their system somehow it was not updated and who ever bought this mare did put her under their name but its not showing anything new thats been done to it, so the best thing to do would call AQHA.. |

Location: Southern Alabama | I believe I am going to call them. I am absolutely desperate to find her. I have been sick over since I sold her. I loved that mare to absolute pieces and spent every last bit of my savings to have her hauled from Alberta, Canada to Florida. |

I googled her name with quotation marks around it and it brought this up. Looks like they're going to delete the ad but you have the option of renewing it. Hope you find her!! |

When I went to pull that up, it would not let me login to pay for the ad... I guess since it isn't mine, I can't pay for it, lol. And, I have looked every different way possible on here to pull up the ad, with no luck |

| Did you call her Fiona? I can see an ad from Youreeranch for a 2009 sorrel 15.1 mare importated from Canada named "Seekin Shady" but they were selling her as grade. Maybe this is where the transfer paper mishap steps in? I'll do some more looking |

I called her Lexi or Lexus.... I sold her to a woman in South Florida named Candice Scott King.... who is the CC King on Youtube.
She is not grade. She is papered, lol.
Cheeka, could you possibly see any contact info on the people who are selling her? |

?UPDATE - I spoke with Janae Massey fromt he Youree Ranch and also Kylie Youree. They do not have this mare. Have never had her. So, it is back to square one. If anyone knows of this mare, has seen her, owns her, whatever, please... let me know. If you want to keep it a secret, you can PM me. I don't mind. I will spend all the money in the world to get this mare back. This mare is my heart. I sold her, when I shouldn't of had, when I was in a very bad place in my life. The mare had some health issues when she was sold. She is ulcer prone, had ulcers when I had her.
