| People that have used flowboots personally, did you like them? Did they work better for you then other brands? CE, iconoclast, PC?
I can't decide if I wanna go with the flowboot or iconoclast! Looking for more of the free range of motion type boot. |

Location: North Dakota | Iconoclast are some of the bulkiest boots out there but you do get support. I use iconoclast at home if I work the pattern and flowboots when I run. Flowboots are amazing and you will not be disappointed. |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I love the flow boots. They never get dirt or muck under them. Easy to clean. They were a bit tricky to get wrapped on correctly at first. But once you get the hang of them, they're easy.
The flow boot hock ice wrap things are a different story. I can't get the hang of wrapping those things. They seem so cumbersome, and the polo type wraps don't seem long enough. Maybe it's because my mare wouldn't stand still... but they weren't cheap, so I'm pretty bummed about them. |

| Iconoclasts never held up for me. Had two different sets and within a dozen rides were starting to have holes.
Looked at the flow boots in person at the NFR and it's literally a piece of foam and some saratoga wraps. The foam is pretty thin and I'd be worried that if my horse were to actually interfere, that they would do anything. Plus what a pain they'd be to put on.
I did however try Pro Orthopedic boots and am thoroughly impressed so far. The velcro is super sticky (the velcro and material it's binding to is specifically made for it so theres much less of a chance of it wearing out) and it has the double sling like the iconoclasts. Much less bulky too and no signs of any sort of wear and I've been riding them everyday on multiple horses for a good month now. Super easy to clean.

ETA: I might have a closer up one but this is what I had available right now. They are really easy to put on and stay in place.

| What interests me about the Flow boots is that they are old technology. Back in the 90's when I was riding eventers we called them porter protectors. You NEVER see anyone using them anymore which makes me wonder why... Not saying anything negative about the flow boots but this observation has given me pause when it comes to considering them. |

| I have not used them but I have a friend who does - she very much likes them. I will say that one needs to be proficient at correctly wrapping in order for these to work correctly - just based on what I've seen of how they are put on. |

I've used mine a lot and I'm not having this problem. Also, the company is very good to work with as far as replacing or discounts |

I bought a like new set of flow boots just to see what the hype was about. Honestly wasn't impressed. I agree they didn't hold up as my set is cracking in 4 different places. I also thought they were pretty bulky compared to other boots. |

| I use them all the way around on my finer boned gelding and I really like them. He seems to reach better in them with the freer range of motion. They're easy for me to put on - but I grew up using only polo's too.
We'll see how they hold up, my Iconoclasts didn't hold up worth a lick. I'll go with pro choice if I don't think they hold up just because those look the least bulky of them all. |

| Love the boots. The only boot I will buy. This boot keeps dirt and debris out. The foam part is easy to clean and the wraps can be hand washed. |

I'd go with a different brand.... see above for my review. Lol. Too bulky and they're extremely stiff and hard to wrap when cold. |

Ive had good luck with the ice wraps that go on the lower leg from them. I won them during a contest so have nothing into them but I like them. |

| I have the Flow boots and like how they fit and work, BUT, my horses legs get really hot in them and one horse will get really angry about that and stomp and be a pain until they are removed. I only put them on 15 min or so before a run . For this reason , I have quit using them for now. |
