JMHO........Today the news and alot of bloggers have posted about ICE arresting alot of illegals. Alot of families are very upset about the family members being arrested and soon to be deported. A lot of protests are getting media attention too. I am on the outside looking in, and may be uneducated about the legal aspects of this, but it seems to be that the laws about immigration has not been followed for some time now, allowing illegals to tap into welfare and my tax $$$ which I think is unfair. i see so many americans needing aide, or alot more getting it that should not be. And I have seen alot of hispanic families at our local wally world with carts full paying with EBT cards, which I thunk is wrong. MAny years ago I was a younger woman with 2 babies who tried to apply for food stamps...they said I made too much. IT was a struggle but I made it. Am I wrong in thinking that finally the laws on the books are finally being followed? Am I wrong also that I think immigrants should come into the county the right way, legally, and learn english. I hate it when I call some place and have to push a button to hear the info in english.
JMHO! But I for one voted for Trump and I am glad to see something positive actually happening within days of his taking office. Again, JMHO.

If all these illegals where here legally there would not be any problems.. But since they are here and they are Illegals will then the illegals need to make it right and fix this problem and I'm sure they know how.

This was done during the Obama administration but the media didn't report on it. Which is a bunch of BS.

You have to just shake your head when an illegal woman stole someone's identity and they were going to deport her and they are protesting they are breaking up the family. The family knows where she is going, they can follow her back to Mexico. For all the ones that are scared...you broke the law...go back to Mexico and enter legally.

It's beyond bizarre that breaking the law is so okay with so many. If an American breaks the law and goes to jail...they are breaking up a family also. How about not breaking the law...entering legally and you wouldn't have these problems. I don't break the law...I don't even speed because I don't want to pay for a speeding ticket.

My Mom went on vacation to Mexico on a bus tour.  First stop below the border was to a Wal Mart.  Did they speak English or cater to the 3 bus loads of English speaking patrons. NOPE.

Our country is the only one that seams to cater to everyone but its legal citizens.

I work with a lot of latino people  Several have worked on and received their US citizenship or are working on it.    They feel the same way as I.  If you are going to live here, do it right.

I just don't understand how they can feel outrage at being deported.  What do they expect when the first thing they do is break a LAW of the country they are entering.

Music to my ears too, and thankfully I don't have any liberal friends. The law is the law. The US has gone along with this illegal persons stuff far too long. Trump is finally righting the wrongs.

In my area the fundings have been getting cut, and boy the Castros {Julian & Joaquin} brothers are fighting mad. We need these sanctuary cities stoped and finally we got a President that wants to make it right for the Americans but all these jackwagons keep mouthing off, but me I wonder if they themselves have illegal family living off the system.

The guy said what he was going to do. He laid it all out there for voters to decide. He shocked the world and defeated Hillary. He started going to work the very next day and hasn't stopped since then. The guy is a working fool. Yes, he's flawed, and sometimes he says things that make people cringe......but he doesn't give 2 sh!ts what the media thinks. Already, people are getting spoiled because he has been getting things done. It hasn't even been a month, and you can tell that the media is so desperate that they are gloating because his plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare, and the tax cuts haven't been accomplished yet. Also, of course the "Wall" hasn't been built yet and people are wondering if that will get accomplished.
As far as ICE rounding up criminal aliens, that too is something he promised....and that's just the beginning.
His best asset, other than his work ethic, is he doesn't give a dam about political correctness.

.......and he's just getting started.

I've said it before, and will say it again. About time these illegals are being dealt with!!!

Yes, I am an immigrant, I came to this country 12 years ago for work, I was supposed to go back after 5 years, but love it here so much I wanted to stay. Oh and found the man that is now my husband.
And we did it the correct way! So 10 years after I came here, and 5 years after we got married I finally became a citizen!
Does it take a long time? YES!
Does it take a lot of effort? YES!
Is it cheap? NO!
Am I glad I did it? HECK YES!!

And does it chafe my butt to see the entitled whiney illegals, which are breaking the law, protest about being deported? OMG YES!!

One other thing, I came here and adjusted to the American way of life. Now grant it, coming from a western European country it wasn't that different then it would be from somewhere out of the Middle East, but still... you want to come live here, because you are trying to escape the dangerous and volatile world you came frome, yet you want to change this country to that same standard???? Nope nope nope.... then you best stay put and deal with it, because your life would not change one bit!!!! Just the landscape.....

Anyway, getting of my soapbox now, but I for one am glad Trump won, and I am pround to say this was the first election I got to vote in, and yes, I did vote for him and am not afraid to say it!!!

I turned on the TV this am and George Stefanopolous was on, interviewing Stephen Miller, senior White House advisor.  He kicked 'ol George's backside, left George scrambling pushing his liberal agenda.  Stephen Miller is one.smart.man.

Is all they have to do is come in the legal way then there wouldn't be a problem.
I'm tiried of all these people saying that the crops are rotting and such because the illegals have been arrested and no one else will work the hours that they do.  Sounds to me like they were treated more like slaves then employee's.  Maybe the unions need to get ahold of these type of employee's and set them straight.  Pay decent wages and take care of their employee's then they will have americans working for them.  Yes I know the prices would have to raise but that would be of set by Americans having more money from more jobs.
But what the heck do I know, I'm just some dumb deplorable hick from the sticks.

But guys, be careful, your white privilege is showing. *TOTALLY SARCASTIC*. if I get that told to me one more time, I'm really not sure what I'm going to be able to hold back.

Just a side story on the ridiculous ideology behind the people who support all this... I was eating lunch with a bunch of other 4th year vet students. One of them is a friend of mine, he's from west TX, and married an Asian lady who is super sweet. They have 3 kids with a fourth on the way. He is really good at impersonations of lots of things, but hes especially good at impersonating an Asian accent. So he was telling a story about one of his trips going to visit another university and how he stopped in for lunch at a Chinese restaurant. The girl answering the phones and taking orders had a strong Asian accent (which he impersonated really well for the story) then said as soon as she was off the phone she spoke in completely normal English without any accent at all. Two of the girls in the room told him to stop speaking in an Asian accent as it was offensive to Asian people. I looked at them and I said, he's married to one and has three children that are half Asian! I think he's pretty involved in Asian culture. They said no, he's just a white dude. He then said the same thing- half of my family's Asian... no, they still said he was offensive. So I said, wait, if I speak in a British accent is that also offensive? And they said YES! Because speaking in accents is making fun of people. I was totally bewildered.

I guess you would have to not watch many movies at all.....a LOT of the well known actors and actresses are British and perform with an "American accent" .....it's kind of funny to see them on a talk show and they talk "British" (their normal language) ..... LOL
