Looking for some advice on Disney World.  Taking our soon to be 4 year old god daughter the first week of April.  Going to Disney World one day.  Any suggestions.  Wheres the cheapest place to get tickets? Any advice would be great. Never been......

Do not buy tickets there. Order ahead of time and the discounts are better. Bring a pop up stroller for her to sit in because the waiting gets to most children. Bring devices or games and snacks to keep them entertained and happy. The food prices are crazy there so we just bring our own and eat in line. Otherwise enjoy it. There are so many rides and the lines will be long for some so use your fast passes wisely. You can watch youtube videos of the rides to see which ones she may need to steer clear from but honestly roller coasters are the only issue i have ever found with the younger kids. There is a long list of banned items and they will turn you away at the baggage checks if you have them. We also always stay off resort at local hotels and just pay to park for the day.

Do your research online get her in to see all the princesses that is the most fun time my advice is to go and enjoy every moment also plan naps during the middle of the day so that she will enjoy it better. You will also relish the rest.

I believe disneyworld is totally on digital fastpasses now and you can book them ahead of time, I'd suggest downloading the app asap and looking into when you can book your fastpasses because the most popular attractions will run out of fast passes with the crowds in April. I'm a Disneyland annual pass holder so I'm not too familiar with Disneyworld but I'm sure the same principles apply lol the best way to get thru it is to just resign yourself to the fact that everything is expensive and it's going to be very crowded the penny presses are the best cheapest souvenirs, kids like watching them press and it only cost you like .51 so bring lots of quarters and pennies and get a map of the penny presses from townhall. This is a tip we always use, we bring flip flops and a little towel in our bag and when we got on the water rides we switch out of our runners and then back after, the best way to blister your feet up is to walk around in wet shoes. Bring your own snacks and water, there should be filtered water filling stations around the park (Disneyland does so I have to assume disneyworld does too). Look into buying your tickets online ahead of time there's always promotions and that's probably your cheapest bet. Have fun!!!!!!!!

Honestly---from a person that has been there many times, wait a couple more years. Walt Disney even stated that a person should wait till kids are in school because they learn the patience of waiting in lines--plus the child will remember it if you wait.

My best advice is to find one of the websites that list the days and expected wait times. I paid $10 for one of these sites. Decided which day to go and then used their plan as far as which rides to go on in which order. Get there first thing in the morning. We just went last November. My worst problem was taking 3 kids from the ages of 4 to 9 by myself. The 9 year old got bored on some of the kid rides. I do agree with the poster that said wait. My 4 year old son was a monster there. Walking around he was fine and on the rides he was good, but waiting in line was horrible. We went on a day where they closed at 5 and with all of the above we still made it on 22 rides. Mainly get the app and follow a plan. Have fun.

I agree. 4 years old is way too young. My inlaws took our daughter when she was 4 and she wasn't thrilled waiting in line. We took her back when she was 6 and she loved it.

We took our older child when he was 2 and we had a great time. The next time we went, he was 6 and the little one 3, and we had a great time. We just went again, they were 11 and 8.  Everything is more magical when they're little, the experience changes as they grow up.  Still fun, just different.   With little ones, a comfortable stroller is a must, and carry snacks and water at any age.

It's the most fun for me when we don't have a plan or schedule, but everyone is different. You're limited to 3 pre-scheduled fast passes a day, so choose wisely because the stuff you want to do likely won't be available for additional fast passes the day you're there.  I liked the old system better because I HATE schedules and rushing around to get somewhere, but it is what it is.  The app was super helpful to figure out how to navigate and find the shorter lines.

For a little one, Magic Kingdom would be my first pick for parks. You can pay more for a park hopper ticket and do more than one, but it's hard to pack in multiple parks when dealing with littles and strollers.  Better to pick one and stay as long as you can stand it. We were always able to find quiet places for naps so we could stay all day.
