I replaced my lunch with these protein shakes last year and lost 15-20 pounds.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Six-Star-Pro-Nutrition-Fit-French-Vanilla...

I saw better results than my coworkers who did it with me but used the isagenix shakes.

I've tried them all too. The only thing that has made a lasting difference is watching my sugar intake, trying to make healthier choices, and getting myself to the gym every morning. It was HARD at first, but my body adjusted to waking up earlier, and I have SO much energy throughout the day now. Its way cheaper than all the products, and I've even made some fitness friends along the way!

No program over the counter is going to do a darn bit of good because you aren't going to do it for the rest of your life.

Weight Watchers is a program that can work.  It teaches you how to eat healthy, encourages you to exercise, but is not required, and is a lifestyle change.

An over the counter pill, shake, etc is not going to do that.

You've "tried"?

I don't mean that to be snarky (truly, I don't), but if you want to lose weight, it's all about making lifestyle changes. There isn't a drink or a pill or a supplement or any other  "quick fix" that is going to work. You have to make a committment to taking better care of your body.

1) EAT CLEAN. Really ... eat clean. Any packaged food you eat will be more processed, more junk added, not clean. Anything you add to food with condiments will not be "clean". Eating healthy and eating clean is hard work and time consuming and it takes planning. It also take a lot of education. Portion control is also key. As Americans, we are so used to (for example) eating an entire plate full of noodles, when you really should only have a small cup size. Eventhing is "super-sized". Your body doesn't need that much.

2) EXERCISE. It is plain healthy for your body to get some exercise; not even including the weight control benefit. You want to do a combination of strengthening and cardio because both are important.

And that's it. It's truly simple. But very hard at the same time.

Trust me. I enjoy french fries and ice cream and desserts and pizza as much as anyone.

If I were to recommend any type of "plan" I would recommend the 21-Day Fix, simply because it teaches you portion control and how to eat clean in a pretty easy format.

Teach yourself how to eat better and live healthier and make a committment to change your lifestyle. THAT is what works. Long-term lifestyle changes.

Completely agree with 21 day fix. It is eye opening what a true portion really is compared to what is served and advertised everywhere AND having a balanced diet. Before learning better habits from 21 day fix I was all about eating heavy on the carbs (come on they are delicious... pasta, bread, rice, all of it!) my portions were way off and I would probably go days without having a vegetable. Now I have a foundation with much better habits with clean eating, correct portion sizes and making sure I have a balanced diet. I still enjoy treats but in moderation and I don't let my treat turn into a week or month long binge :)

Have you had your blood tested for any abnormalities? Just got mine done and I was very low in Vitamin D, which is linked to not being able to lose weight. I was told to take D3 2000 IU once a day, but I also take B12 and Super Green Tea pills (250mg) , which is just a pill form of the tea and they give me a lot of energy to go ahead and work out. Eat a bunch of fruit, and probiotics can do you a world of good (yogurt or Yokult).

Just aim to do 30 minutes of exercise to start, I take my horses for walks everyday before I ride as a warm up for them but also me, so I do 15 minutes of handwalking x2 (2 horses). Then go for hikes, watch some youtube videos on working out etc.

I have heard thermogenics can work, but hard to say. If you need a boost (even though B12, green tea pills should help you) look into pre workouts...but when you take it, you need to go work out or else you're gonna feel really hyper for a while.

Drink around a gallon of water a day, give or take based on height/weight etc.

I've tired it all.. changed my whole lifestyle before with eating less.. eating better etc..
The only thing that has helped me lose weight successful is Xyngular products and their healthy lifestyle plan.
Make sure your bloodwork is normal and nothing is out of whack as well.
They have a great shake that taste good so I have that for breakfast everday with low carb high protein meals the rest of the day.

I work in the court system. I have seen some overweight meth addicts. However even the ones that are overweight usually have terrible skin, bad teeth and horrible BO. I see that whole "meth makes you skinny" as a horrible myth perpetrated by people who think they are gonna get skinny before they lose their teeth & get nasty scars on their face. But if you want to test it out 1DSoon please be sure to take before and after pictures for us.

I was gonna say crack but if you want to loose your teeth too meth will work better lol, don't smoke weed I hear it gives you the munchies

Weight loss is not as hard as people think it is, it doesn't take rocket science to figure out what's good and what's bad for you, I believe it's more like Mind over Matter. You can do anything you put your mind to. I would say diet is 90% of it, I do cross fit (or was until I had slight cardiac issues) and am VERY active, surfing, riding, softball, cross fit, the gym.... my problem is I don't diet (I am now again becAuse I can't work out) but even doing the intense cross fit work outs I never lost weight at all u less I dieted, PALEO is a great high protein diet to follow. I will say I was very very toned and strong from working out but I stored muscle over fat because I still ate like crap.

If you can change your diet and the way you eat that's most important for weight loss, if you can incorporate working out with it that's even better, but don't expect a miracle the first month, it takes time but you will feel better guaranteed.

I bought Garcinia Cambogia from GNC as well as a 14 day cleanse, and it jump started my metabolism. I used the GC for about three months and used the cleanse how it instructs on the bottle and after that three months I forgot to buy more. I haven't used it since.
I eat pretty healthy but I would always over eat or eat when I was bored, etc. but now I eat every two hours and get full after about a palm sized portion of whatever I find available.
I keep grilled chicken and homade green beans in the fridge at work to reheat and eat throughout the day. I also keep a bag of salad (Kale, cabbage, and fresh greens with fat free sugar free honey mustard dressing and homade soup I've frozen at the office to snack on. Soup is easy to make healthy if you use the right ingredients. Plus you can make lots to freeze and eat on.
I keep a little bit of fruit available at the office like frozen grapes and apples and also make homade almond milk to go with my cereal in the mornings. You would be surprised how easy it is to make. (I eat the completely full of sugar Captain Crunch with my healthy almond milk and refuse to give that sugary treat up LOL.) My littlest one is allergic to anything dairy so I've completely cut it out of my life so she doesn't have to have a different meal than what we eat at home. I replaced my butter with dairy free smart balance and I can't tell the difference in my recipes that call for butter. I hear it's healthy. Who knows. LOL
I also drink 120+ ounces of water daily and like to mix cucumber and lemon in occassionally. I really think this is what helps me the most. Aside from pills and magic potions. Water keeps me full and I can put flavorful fruit in it if I want. It sounds like a lot I know but it's easy if you have access to cold water all day. I drink water easier when it's cold.  I use my RTIC Cup and since it's almost 30 ounces without ice I have 3 cups full of water before lunch, one after lunch, and then one on the way home. I usually cut back after that so I'm not up in the middle of the night going to the restroom. But I will have water with dinner. I stop eating 2 hours before bed and usually go to bed hungry. Water is great for your body and metabolism.

What's with these "cleansers"? How does that work? Do they detoxify?
Speaking of detoxification and cleansers, can anyone name the substances that are cleansed, or the toxins that are removed? It's a cool sounding idea. I'm sure I have some toxic stuff in my body, but what is it?

Is anyone familiar with the fable, "Stone Soup"?

Some of these diet regimens remind me of that story. They convince you that some herbal potient will burn fat, detoxify, and cleanse. They say it works even better if you supplement the potient with a diet of water, cucumbers, and radishes. They guarantee it works. I believe them.

I haven't tried anything because I don't like to take pills...But I did start walking, then walking/running. Took me 30 minutes, I was able to drop some weight and maintain just by walking/running. I don't go far, I just make sure I get 30 minutes in whether its just walking/speed walking/running. 30 minutes get's me about 3 miles. I think the key is cut back on your carbs and get moving....good luck.
