I need some new bell boots and sport boots. I want something I can use every day and not have it falling apart in a few months. My horse has shredded her bells in just a few months! And the Velcro on my sport boots has ripped off.

I've had my Pro Orthopedic sport boots since December and have used them at least 5 days a week for a few hours at a time and they've held up great. Not a mark on them. I usually use Classic Equine bells because I like how they fit their hooves better but they do tend to fray at the bottom.

I've not been happy with how my Iconoclasts have held up. I'm sticking with them on the fronts because I ended up with 2 new pairs as awards last year, but I'm switching to flow boots on the back. A little more work to put on but I like the concept and I'm hoping for more freedom of movement for my horse who destroyed the iconoclasts.

Not sure how the quality is on the Professional's Choice SMBIIs  anymore.  I've got 2 old full sets.  One was from when I first bought my horse, around 2000.  They have their flaws, obviously after that long, but they sure aren't falling apart.

I love my Iconoclast boots - they've held up well but I also only use them when I run, not everyday riding.  For bell boots I really like the Relentless - I do use bells for everyday riding and these have held up alot longer than others I have tried.  I'd like to try the Dynamic Edge bells also.

I love my Classic Equine Legacy boots. I've had 3 sets for about 8 years now and they're still in very good shape.

I wanted to add that these are simply for the everyday stuff.   I have PC Elite's for shows and a few CE.

Classic Equine Legacies. Been using them for years, I just had to cheaply sell a pair that a strap ripped, but that is literally after..I'd say 3-4 years of using them. and the rest of the Velcro was still sticky and the boot was still useable, but I just don't know to sew on a new strap otherwise they'd still be in my trailer!

I use bell boots everytime that I ride, I try to stick with Classic Equine or Professional Choice, the ballistic bells. If you get the fancier designed ones that are coated with that plastic stuff, they will get tore up. But if you want something that lasts, I'd use the ballistic with nylon covered and neoprene lined. I've had some purple ones I've been using just as a work bell boot that I use every time I ride.. had them for about 2 years and they still look and work great.

RES makes a great bell boot. I have used mine for 3 years and very little wear on them. They hold up to mud very well.
the sport boots will not let dirt in.

Classic Equine Pro-Tech bell boots on everything!
My gelding and my big mare, I use Classic Equine Leather splits ,on the fronts . Gelding has Ed Wright combos for the backs, Mare runs in Polos. She hates the Combos on the back and wont' fire, and sport boots aren't big enough for her.
On my little mare I use SMB's front and back , though if she comes back from the suspensory injury we will probably be looking at Iconolast. not sure yet.

For everyday stuff I just like the plain splint boots with the neoprene and the strike pad in the center, for shows I use PC VenTech Elite boots.

I got some of the new Deluxe Overreach Boots from PC for my colt and I LOVE them! They have a harder strike guard on the back for horses that really dig in back to prevent ripping the bulbs of their heels.

I LOVE my Professionals Choice no turn bell boots. They hold up really well. I use them for everyday and competition. I use no brand splint boots for everyday and PC Elites for competition.

Classic Equine boots and bells. I also have a few RES boots that I sometimes use. I also use the PHT bells on my horse 24/7.

Favorite boots are Classic Equine legacies. they can be a bit harder to put on right the first few times, but they last forever. I have a set of smb2 for riding in mud cause I am not crazy about them and I don't care if I ruin them. I recently bought a set of pc ventech elites and they look nice. I like my CE bell boots for my mare because I find the pc ones too tall. For polos I like PC and CE. PC ones are so easy to wrap :)

I run in polos and work bare-legged (except for bells). The best bells that have held up for my horses (used daily) are the iconoclast bells.

I think I have tested just about every brand of sport boots out there at this point, lol. Its taken me FOREVER to find one I really like. I've been a die hard CE user for years, but they just don't keep the dirt out as well IMO. But I do think they are a great day to day use if you're not doing just a ton of arena work, cause those suckers are super durable! However, their bells are still my favorite and I'll never use any other brand on those. I agree with the above poster about the Iconoclasts. They are great boots and keep dirt out really well, and fit nice. However, their durability is crap. Unless you only want to use them for runs. Dynamic edges are WAY too short for my liking (I've never tried those, I just don't like how short they are so I never wanted to try them). PC boots are really durable like the CEs, but I didn't really like the way they fit and they didn't keep the dirt out either. Soooo, long story short...er,long I guess, I am currently using Ortho Equine brand and really like them! I don't know too many people that are using them right now, but so far I love them. They keep dirt out really well and so far are very durable. I've been using them almost every day for the last month or so and no rips or tears yet. My iconoclasts had rips within the first month of use (BOTH pairs, I might add).

I saw my friend the other day with a set of Tough 1 boots on her horse.  I really liked how snug, close and covered the overreach boots were, and then noticed the other features of the boot.  I was really impressed.
She gave me a surprised look when I said I hadn't seen or heard of them, before. They will be the next boots I buy, though.

Have y'all tried them?

I love the Classic Equine crossfits. I have a gelding that would never wear back boots. He hated when he got dirt in them and would stand and stomp and kick his back feet. He loves the crossfits and they keep dirt out amazing! I'm selling most of my other boots and buying crossfits
