| Have a hard to fit 16 year appendix.... I last tried a 6 3/4 Martin hoping it would fit but it bridged on his back and fell in the dip behind his shoulder (not a knock on Martin's...it just didn't fit him) Tried a friend's Triple Creek last week and it looks like it fit him perfectly. Got a few questions: has the quality of the saddle decreased over the last few years? Not sure whether to try to find a used one or order new... been reading reviews and they are conflicting. Also, I have narrow hips and liked how the Martin sat me and I liked the higher cantle... with the TC I felt like I was sitting on my pockets and wasn't quite as secure..if that makes sense. Any advice or opinions would be appreciated!! Thanks:) |

Location: Oklahoma | I had a 2009 model I just sold and I regret it. I've heard decent things about the recent made ones, but I've tried contacting them about a new saddle and their customer service hands down sucks. I emailed them the end of February with the specs I want on a saddle and I've yet to hear back. I am to the point that I don't feel I should have to chase them down. It also sucks because that saddle was the most comfortable saddle, sat me correct and fit everything. I'm still holding out hope I can get one built. I never should have sold mine and I have told the lady that bought it if she ever sells it I want it back. |

| I have one that is 3-4 years old and I love it, it is great quality. I recently had a backcinch made for that one and I just got a new one that I waited 12 weeks for it and I hate it. The leather was not good quality and the stitching looked shoddy. I called and they took it back and gave me my money back as i didnt have time to wait for another one. They have EXCELLENT customer service. |

I'm glad you had excellent customer service. I've left Lynn and Jason both messages via email and phone trying to get a saddle spec'd out with no responses. It's super frustrating. |

| I ordered one last year through a dealer and the quality was incredible and customer service was fine. I was quoted 12 weeks for delivery and mine arrived in 8. The Clouds were snippy when I spoke with them, but the outside dealer was great. |

Location: Where you need a paddle... Oregon! | I bought mine used a few years ago. Had never even seen one in person before. I freaked out at first because the leather felt so different than my Cactus, but I love it. I cleaned and oiled it really well and take good care of it. I love the way it rides and would recommend them. |

Location: Pacific Northwest | I had one made in 2010. BB Vanessa was the rep I went through. The saddle has been amazing. It's my only saddle and has held up to every day riding and competing. And I've only cleaned it like twice. I'm not very good at taking care of things |

| Thanks for all the input! Still a bit torn on what to do... found one the right size on FB, but it's a bit blingier that I'd usually purchase lol.... might have to order plain jane one new...

| My cousin has one, and I am not impressed with the quality.
She has had it for 4 years, hardly rode in, always stored inside, never rained on, and the back fenders curled up within a year.
For the price of the saddle, I find the quality is better in the billy cook saddles from sulphur Oklahoma. |

I agree, I looked at one for my fiance as just a knock around, ride every once in awhile saddle and wasn't impressed. Leather seems cheap, but I'm also not a fan of most of the newer Circle Y's quality either. |

That does sound frustrating. I wouldnt order another one that is for sure. |

Location: In a happy place | Those that I have seen I am not impressed with the quality. But I have seen people post on here that love theirs. I had a saddle made with a highter cantle one time and hated it. When I started riding in it it felt like it pushed me forward and I could never set down. JMPO. I may have had the problem because I don't have a tiny hiney. |

Location: North Dakota | I owned one and it was a total Monet. Looked beautiful from far away, but up close it was a hot mess. You couldn't pay me to ride in another one. I think I owned mine three months and sold it as fast as I could.
If you want a nice fitting saddle that doesn't break the bank I loved my Shiloh. Stacy was amazing to work with. The wait is typically longer, but its worth it. |

| I have had mine since 2010.
LOVE IT.
Wonderful quality. Has fit almost every horse I have thrown it on with just a pad change.
I use this thing daily and it still looks new. |

Location: here | I received horrible customer service. Luv the one I ordered in 2011 nice leather and comfy. 2 nd one I ordered came 1 1/2 inch bigger size seat than I ordered and they would not take it back. The quality of leather on the 2nd one was not as nice. Sold for a big loss |

Location: Dearing, GA | I tried to have one made for two years- TWO YEARS- and could never get questions answered. The customer service was terrible. I too regret selling one, and wanted another so bad. The quality is great for the price. |

Location: the land of dust & sticks | I’ve had 4 of their saddles and have known them for a long time. (Only met through saddle purchase)I like their saddles a lot and would buy another if needed, they were very easy to work with. I just can’t see spending 2500+ on some of the other saddles out there. I don’t have that kind of money and think it’s ridiculous. |

| I bought a used one. Think it's a 2012 model. I really like it, the quality is great, fits both my wider flatter horses well. No complaints really. Would I buy another one, probably, but not from TC directly, just from what I've been hearing about the customer service, sounds like a nightmare. I did contact them for a rear cinch I need for my TC and they responded fast so.. who knows! If I could find another nice used one like I did, I'd get on it. |

Location: in the ozone | I ordred a new one back in 2009 or 10 & loved it. My gelding ended up getting too broad for it so after a lot of thought, I sold it. Another friend had ordered one just like mine right after I got mine since she liked it so much too. A few years later, hers didn't fit anyone she had & I had a new one I hoped it would work for so bought it from her. Again, really happy with the saddle. But it ended up not fitting this horse either once the horse got in shape so regreatablly sold it too. Haven't seen any of their new ones, but loved the quality of them back then. I'd probably try to find a good use older one myself. Do they still use the same trees on the new ones? |
