| No matter what this day has in store for you, you can be assured that God is watching. Like the Pslamist did, ask Him to come visit your circumstances with His awesome power.
Psalm 80:14. return, we beseech Yôu, O God of hosts; Look down from the heaven and see.
Verse 14 is a reminder that there is Someone who understands our exhaustion. He's watching every moment of our lives. That verse says He also comes to " visit" us in our troubles.
One of the tough test assignments life ever hands us is to try to keep function while everything in our world is falling apart. If you've been there,or that's where you are today, you know how difficult it can be to tey to do all the things you normally do when nothing is normal. The added pressure and pain piled on top of already a stressful life can bring us to despair. We sometimes wonder, Does anyone understand what I'm feeling? Doe anyone even see me?
Our Lord and Savior, is a God who sees! I pray for ALL those victims of the fires, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and the flooding in south Texas
This time is overwhelming, destruction, and loss.
Father God, One who sees ALL, Lay Yôur hand of guiding, comforting, healing peace upon ALL. Lord, give a hope light in the darkness. I pray with tears of mercy upon ALL. Amen AMEN!!

Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | I needed this today. I know it seems so minor with everything the fire victims are going through, but Sunday marks one month since my dad died. It both feels like he's been gone an eternity, yet the pain is still as fresh as if he passed yesterday. It seems like everyday brings some new hurdle to climb in the grieving process, so this is exactly what I needed today. Thanks ladyjockey.  |
