I've got a 2015 Eby Stock Combo
(black skin, some upgrades, lightly used
) that a dealer just offered me HALF of what paid new, offer was through emails and over the phone. What is actual typical depreciation on a trailer like this??????

It depreciates 19-25% the moment it leaves the lot brand new. Most dealers make more profit on resale of used units than new ones so low ball offers are pretty common. They can turn around and resell at a higher profit. Your best bet is to sell the trailer privately.

My parents ordered a brand new stock combo quality brand trailer in 2001
(shell that we put our own living area in
). We hauled it all over the world until just a few years ago and sold it for about $2k less than what we paid clear back then.

So true!! I've been shopping for a stock combo for my son for college. Don't need anything fancy, but wanted the "security" of buying from a dealer. They still want about 75% of new cost for trailers less than 5 years old. :

It's appalling to me that Trailer Dealers want to make money.
