Location: Durango CO | Will try to attach pics.17 yr old mare. Runs competitively against Haley Wolfe & Mia Fabulous Fame with big rider mistakes. Trail rides everywhere, crosses water, etc. Papers are too big too attach but you can find her on Allbreed under Special Bugsy. She is a grand daughter of SE and BA75. Has had 3 goals. 1 that I believe was traoned and sold by the Conrado's, the other 2 are in barrel and race training. |

Location: Where I am happiest | Not 75,000 -85,000 for a 17 yr old. Depending on what maintenance, and what quirks, which could effect price quite a bit. If sound, solid consistant, and nice to be around and no issues, for a 17 yr old I would start about $25,000. |

| 1. Maintenance needed.
2. Records or proof of he horse's earnings
3. Kid gentle?
4. Are you selling as a broodmare or barrel horse?
5. Market for horses in your area |

Location: Georgia | Need more info....Im assuming you mean this horse runs similar times as "Mia Fabulous Fame"? I googled her name and I'm seeing some 2d/3D results from last year. Do you have proof she is 1D? In general I wouldnt pay more than $12,000-$15,000, solely on the idea that she can still run in the 1D. If she is running 2D or 3D, that will drop significantly. 17 is getting on up there. I would imagine she needs some maintenance to stay competitive. If her new owners are lucky, maybe they will get another 2-3 years out of her.

Location: Durango CO | I got the mare last year and it took me a while to get with her. We had a lot of mistakes and didn't go very fast. Then I started progressing and I ran a tenth off of Haley where we both hit the 2nd barrel at the same raceout off 300+ entries. I go up and down in divisions based on my confidence and when i ride the horse right she hangs in there with Haley times. Other times i get really nervous and end up in 3d. This is the first time ever that the mare has been injected in her jocks and I have her on polyglycan at the advice of Dr. David Wolfe, Haley dad. I am thinking of selling the horse to someone who can run her better since she is getting older. Haley ran her at a rodeo one time and loved her. Her time was a half second off because I didn't tell her how to ride the horse very well. She is really good to be around on the ground. No vices, very trustworthy. I know she wld be a tough 1d horse with a better rider. |

Location: Durango CO | I would say a kid that knew how to ride a 1d horse cld win on her no problem. She will run to and turn exactly where you put her and that's most of my problem, if that makes sense. I set her up poorly and we have bad runs. |

| Based on the results I have found from the past few years, I would say that she probably could be priced around 7k and a lot of that is based on her ability to be good with a youth. It looks like you're not the only person who varied in D's on her.

Location: The best kept secret in TX | I would get her to someone running in the 1D who can jockey her. Pay the entry fees, feed billy, vet bill, shoe bill, and jockey bill for about 6 months and then pull reconrds of the horse running those 6 months. You'll get more by proving her than telling people it's your fault and by promising 1D times with the right rider. The problem you will run into is someone buying her, getting angry for ending up in the 3D and dragging your name through the mud by saying they were "promised" a 1D horse.... ETA: If you don't have the money up front ask the jockey if you can give them a percentage of the sale. Good Luck.

Location: Where I am happiest | I'm going to retract my previous post. I didnt research the horse by her name, but going off of those that did, running inconsistantly, usually 2 and 3D, 17 years old, I'd say about $7500. Running 1 time a tenth off of Haley's horse with a tipped barrel does not equate "Runs with Haley's horse" in all honesty. I also agree with the above that said if you trully believe she is a 1D horse or capable of then getting her with a 1D rider to compete and sell for you would be best. However, how much will you gain by that is hard to say because the horse would have to actually step up and run those times and then how long would that take? If your friends with Haley, then I say your best bet is to pick her brain and see what she thinks beings though she knows the horse. Maybe she could run her at some races for you and see where it goes. |

Location: Deep South | So.... In the past year this mare would have been in the 1D one time with a down barrel. She inconsistently runs in the 2-3D.
She's 17.
She requires light maintenance.
She requires an experienced rider.
Average barrel racing breeding, not out of a name brand sire.
I say you'd be doing well to get $5k. |

Location: Aubrey, Texas | My advice is free, so take it for what it's worth, but if you don't have to sell her, why not just keep her? It doesn't matter if she CAN be in the 1D, like Carol Goosetree once told me, "She's yours, isn't she?" IF you like her, and she's easy to get along with, keep her and learn as much as you can from her. Every run you make on her, 1D or 5D, is another run under your belt. Don't be too hard on yourself- it's all a learning process and the next one might be unsound, counterfeit, etc. |
