Go to the Vet. Ask the vet for Omeprezol powder with a Rantidine mixed in. He will know what you're talking about. 30 day supply for $165.
I used to order from the retailer you are asking about. Never again.

I use Equine Pharmacy Solutions. Lab tested, horse approved omeprazole suspension. You can contact Teri Crooks- email [email protected] or cell 701-840-8028.

It will run you around $200 for the two bottles you'll need to treat. Treatment dosage (10cc) for 28 days. with 8 days (maintenance dose 2.5cc) leftover in your bottle to either continue to give or use when hauling/at shows.

I too had a bad experience with them.  For the OP, please check them out with BBB!  You would be much better served (and your horse) by getting a compound from your vet or ordering from compounding pharmacy with a good rating.

The pharmacy I work for makes omeprazole paste and powder, and omeprazole/ranitidine paste and powder. Please order from an accredited pharmacy, not a shady website. PM me and I will help in any way I can.

200 for compounded omeprazole is a bit much. My vet calls in a prescription to precision pharmacy in Bakersfield CA and it's 100 shipped for BUFFERED , apple flavored , pure omeprazole. Works great. That's for 30 day supply at treatment dose. I use it for hauling and that makes it 120 doses 100 bucks.

The meds aren't regulated. You could easily get a tube full of just paste without any medicine in it at all.
You are better off contacting a compounding pharmacy. They have someone to answer too. RH Meds does not.
Refer to the BBB for complaints and cases currently pending againt them if there are any left.

I also use a paste from My Precision Pharmacy.  It is a mix of omeprazole and ranitidine.  Love that stuff and super affordable.  Their customer service is great!

I had good success with the product from HorsePreRace if that's what your talking about. Mare was scoped and had 2 grade 2 ulcers and 2 other "areas". I did start with Ulcerguard, but I just could not afford it. I switch over for 3 of the 6 weeks total and continue to give it on race and or travel days.I understand the issues with the compounded medications and I use standard vet grade with everythi g I possibly can but my horse was in pain and I had to help. Can anyone tell me what issues they have had with this company? I'm just curious I guess Never purchased anything else from them and actually some of the items look scary as beck. I just wondered if the problems were with medication or with the business.
