Anybody have them? Run in them? How do you like it?

Looking at one at the moment, I remember sitting in one a couple years ago during the NFR and I liked it. Was wondering how they ride? Are they made well? Worth buying?

I have one, bought it used for the used price tag. I will say I sat in a new one, and I prefer the used one as it was already broke in. I love mine. I have no complaints. The only issue I have had with it, it is will roll some on a horse with absolutely no withers, but that can be fixed with the correct pad. Good luck :)

Thank you! What kind of pad do you use with it? I had thought about looking into a Bob Marshall too.. but I hated it because it would always roll on my mutton withered gelding. The one I'm looking for is mutton withered too.

I have had 2.   Bought a 15.5 and lost 40lbs.  Loved it so much I bought a 14.5.

So much different than the Tammy or Jackie or even a BM.  Rides way better IMO and is comparable to a treed saddle, but way more comfy.  I have freedom of movement in my legs too.

i got a brand new one for Christmas a few years back. Pretty much hated it, but didn't realize it until spring came when I actually went to use it. Of course, it was too late to return by then. It rolled all over my mare regardless of what pad. I couldn't tighten it down enough to stop it from inching up over her neck. Leather was cheap and hard, granted it wasn't broken in. i ran in it a few times, and couldn't get up out of the seat. Stirrups were hung too forward for my taste. But it did have a nice deep seat and was pretty. Sold it at a large loss and didn't look back. Hopefully you have a different experience. Maybe try before you buy if possible.

Yes- mine was the same way. I purchased a Shiloh and love it!

D&D here in Seguin has the B Natural in stock and I am not impress with the quality of them, the leather was on the cheaper side and they look like they would fall apart easley after a few years of use..

Thanks all for the feedback. I decided to read a little more about them..

A lot of people are saying that the saddle didn't "fit" their horse and the front of the saddle (where the gullet would be) isn't wide enough and created soreness? I am confused. Isn't it supposed to be treeless? lol

Tree or not, it's still fairly rigid. It didn't flex over my mares withers. Hence it wanting to ride forward over her neck. It's sweet spot was a good 6" up her neck.

Edited because I hate autocorrect...

I ride two different horses in it. One I use a regular 5 star pad, the other I use a saddle right pad. I am previous english background, so i prefer my feet to be directly under me instead of too far forward. I dont feel as if I have a hard time getting up to hustle, but everyone is different and has their own opinions. It did take me about a week of riding to get use to the pommel being higher than a treed saddle. I did try a few different saddles prior to purchasing, and liked this the most. Again, truly have no complaints.

Try a tacky too pad and neoprene girth. That should stop the saddle roll.

My sister had one that I rode in several times on my horse. Not the best quality leather but it definitely didn't feel like it was going to fall apart on me. I found it SUPER comfy to ride in and felt balanced (despite the fact that it was a hair too small for me). My horse has KS and I'm definitely not the lightest rider, so a treeless saddle really "shouldn't" work for us...but it did.   It never caused any soreness and he never acted cinchy so I'd say that's a positive review from him as well.

If you know leather quality, and you're familiar with what good quality supple soft leather is.... You will hate this saddle. Very cheaply made. Very stiff leather. Stiff does not mean strong. Stiff as in, this saddle is made from terrible leather. Terrible materials equal a terrible ride, terrible fit, and terrible resale value.
I know of a few stores that refuse to order more because they don't want to get stuck with them.

I just bought a new one and sent that thing back immediately. It  was absolute junk for $2,200. leather was stiff and didn't fit right on the horse due to this.  seat was bigger 3/4" bigger than was suppose to be and cantle was crooked.

For those that don't have thousands to spend on a saddle, Corrientes are super nice! I LOVE mine and it has fit every horse I've had it on. Highly recommend them.
