Good Ole Boys just Fine with Me

Location: SE Missouri | Who has one? Thoughts? How old? What's the mare like? I am breeding something to him. Leaning towards the roping bred mare (sure has hundreds of roping points) or the race winning mare is an option.
Both smart, ride good, both can be a little sensitive.. roping mare is heavier built and needs more get up and go. Race mare a little fine with plenty of go.
One will go to SBL the other to Dashin dynamo.. |

| I used to have one for a while. She was pretty smart and really fast! I think she was a little blown up being run as such a young age, but with a little time for her to gain confidence and mature she has really come around.
The only thing I can really pick apart about SBL is I feel he tends to throw a heavier shoulder. |

To me, the rope horse mare should go to Dashin Dynamo, and the race mare to SBL. |

Location: Oklahoma & Texas | I have a yearling colt by SBL that I love... he's been easy in every aspect very good minded and a pleaser - looking forward to starting him next spring. He's out of a proven 1 d producing mare I have that is cow bred on top and race bred on bottom she's appendix Qh.. he'll probably hit 15.3 or 16 hands as both parents are... SBL throws size and great hips but I have yet to see one that isn't athletic on any type of mare he's a great outcross. My colt loaded on my trailer first time i tried and every time since which has a ramp and might intimidate some grown horses without a flinch - he is very accepting of anything you try with him and very sweet. |

| I'm a terrible picture taker- but here he is! Out of a DTF/tinys gay mare. I did not have her booked back to SBL and I'm kicking myself. |

I agree with this. I have a yearling SBL and a 2017 DD out of the same mare. She is finer made and SBL added quite a bit of size to her. DD as far as I can tell at a month old did not, so if you're looking to add size I'd go with SBL on the race mare. |
