Alright can we have a serious all info EPM talk?
Friend had a yearling die of EPM 2 yrs ago. Recently purchased a 5 yr old has it now as well. I am supposed to lease a horse to them. I'm actually hesitant to do so because it just feels like theses horse on their farm are pretty suspect able to EPM for some reason.
Can we discuss why?
Should they take any precautions to like decontaminate? I'm thinking my boy with rebalance, an immune booster, and vitamin E pellets just to be safe because i'm paranoid.

They need to really evaluate what they're feeding and get their horses on a digestive supplement that will boost their immune system. I was having to treat every six months and now I haven't treated any of the same horses in two years.
EPM is directly related to the horses gut health and nutrition.

Have they had their feed tested? I know it can be transmitted through feed...
