Does anyone have any experience with either Wave Carver or Desirio offspring in the barrel pen? The good, the bad and the ugly? Thanks

I have a 4 year old stallion by Desirio. We raised him, sent him to the track, and now he's back home. He is only lightly started on the pattern, but I'm impressed with how easily it has been for him. Personality-wise, I couldn't ask for anything better. He is friendly, respectful, and willing. I pasture bred him to a few mares this year, and I could go grab him out of the pasture and ride him with no issues. Mine is out of a Vital Sign/Bugs Alive In 75 mare.

Have a Desirio daughter that ran on the track and was going to go to the barrel pen but we discovered she had an old injury fromt he track that would be a problem. She had a TON of reach, Rate, and POWER>>>>> man she had a motor.... and so easy. SHe's had two foals for me now. and they are easy easy easy both from different studs with different pedigrees. If I had the opportunity to get another Desirio I would in a heartbeat!

I bought an 8 year old Wave Carver mare a couple of months ago. She ran on the track and then was working cows the last couple years. She is so sweet! Very willing and trainable! I'm about to start her on the pattern. The only thing is she can be impatient and wants to rush through things. I've been working with her on it and she is getting better. I'm very happy with her though!!

Thank you for the info!
A friend has two mares for sale right now, one sired by Desirio and one sired by Wave Carver obviously lol. Both three year olds that will be coming off the track. I am looking for a future broodmare as I have two paid for stud fees and a broodmare with a severely injured leg from this spring that we are just hoping for the best right now. Both stud fees can be used in 2018.
So I was just curious on peoples experiences with them as I haven't dealt with either lines before. Thanks :
