I have a Billy Cook Saddle. It's a 14 inch old....like 30 years old and in average condition. My neighbor wants to buy it to just pleasure ride in. I have NO IDEA what to price it at....Any ideas?

In a retail setting they may bring $300-$400 depending on the buyer. Anything over $500 is just too much.

The information you gave is not enough to price it. Depends on condition. If it says Billy Cook Saddles Greenville TX. It is not worth much. If it says Billy Cook MAKER made in Sulfur OK. It is worth more. Tried to keep that short

Billy Cook was bought out by Simco/Longhorn about the mid 70's. He opened the Oklahoma saddlery in 1981. Like I said if it says Billy Cook MAKER then it was actually made by Billy Cook where ever. I have a Billy Cook that I bought new in 1974. Still have it. It says Billy Cook MAKER G0reenville Tx. Hope that clarifies things.

Thank you for the replies. I won't put too big of a pricetag on it. She asked to buy it and I had no idea what to say.

I think 350 to 375 would be a fair price.

My mom sold hers last year for $400-450, can't remember exactly.
She's had it as long as I can remember and I'm 27.
