What are direct sons or daughters of tres seis like?  What are grandget of corona Cartel like as barrel horses?

I found a nice son of Tres Seis out of a daughter of Corona Cartel and Dash Ta Vanila.  Do TS and CC make barrel horses?

I have a DTF out of an own daughter of TS. He is HOT. He's very fragile and gets his feelings hurt very easily! I know the CC's can be tough and and little fractious, I would be nervous about TS crossed on a CC. BUT every individual is different- take a look, ride him around, see how it feels. Don't let a breed stereotype make you miss a good one!

Hallie Hanssen runs two by Tres Seis. Look up Tres Movidas and The Kandyman. They both have an awesome style that are fun to watch. and are pulling checks left and right.

I have a 5 year old mare that is out of a Corona Cartel daughter. She is crazy ratey yet very explosive between barrels. I don't think I could get her to run by a barrel if I tried. She's a little hot, but I would not say fragile minded. Just very smart and doesn't forget things, good or bad. I friend of mine also runs a gelding by a CC son. He's fun to watch. lots of speed, yet hard rating. Both of our horses came off the track.

I have a daughter of Cartel Success.  She was deemed as "crazy" by the track trainer, turned her out, and I got her as a hard luck case from a girl who they gave her to.   She was super feely to start, but after 5 months she is one of my favorites!  Very smart mare and hunts a barrel, and super quick footed and athletic!  She works the flag and we can ride out back all day, she was super helpful sorting cows last weekend too!  I will say Magnesium has helped her ton.
She's out of a TB daughter of In Excess.

Preferance on either? Looking for a race bred broodmare out of one of these two, one to cross with a cow bred stallion. Which cross would be better? TS or CC.

Don't forget that Tres Seis goes back Steakin Six. That's where you get your speed and athletic ability. Many others also go back to Steakin Six but barrel racers don't pay $30,000 for stud fees. I am breeding to a son of Mr Jess Perry that is a nice horse that has put out some good barrel horses. Anything that goes back to Streakin Six will run. Wenda Johnson's horse is double bred Streakin Six. I have two mares out of my Leaving Memories/Streakin Six momma. I also bred that mare to a son of Corona Cartel. All are very level headed.
