Location: London Ontario | We have some rodeos coming up that we will need to stay over at and am looking for some ideas and tricks to make things more comfortable.
We have an insulated gooseneck weekender with windows, AC and a generator(or can hook up). We have a mattress in the gooseneck but does anyone else have some hints or advise to make things more comfortable? |

Location: Phoenix | You're better off than we were when we were rodeoing. We didn't have A/C and it wasn't insulated. I would want curtains for the windows because it is BRIGHT in the morning up there. |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | I'm not really sure what else youre looking for so I'm just gonna tell you what we do. lol I have the same set up as you. We're in the process of building our LQ's and the only thing we have done so far is the insulation, walls and floor. We do have a generator for electric and what not. So i always make sure i have a fan/heater even in summer months. We just camped this past weekend and it was in the 90s all day but saturday night it dropped and got cold enough that we had to close up the windows and put on the heat for a bit! If you dont have an awning, get an easy up. It helps so much with the elements. And as someone said before, get curtains if you dont have them. They are such a blessing when lights are left on all night. Always keep a mirror if you dont have one, theyre super cheap at walmart and light! and so much better than using the truck mirrors lol hope this helps! |

This! ^^^^ A microwave is nice for heating stuff up and making tea or coffee and a porta potty is a must! Terrible to wake up in the morning and have to make the mad dash to the back of your trailer and hope no one is around to see you!

That is what I am thinking. I have a Titan with just a tack room, no insulation. Tossed a mattress up front and I put magetic rods over the 2 nose windows. Only have a screen in the door window and where I use it most is a 3 day show in the summer where it gets 104 during the day. We do all right and by 10 pm or so it is fairly comfortable to sleep. |

The matress we had was so uncomfortable. Added a matress pad to the top of it and slept like a queen!
Also, go uptown like Roxie, get a microwave and porta potty! Life savers.
Also, you can "meal prep" in plastic containers, keep thim in your cooler and pop in the microwave when you're ready. No hassle of storing ingredients or digging out plates, etc, less trash to pick up, and you get a good meal for less money! Eat good feel good!  |

| A portable shower if their are no showers available where you are staying. We have one we just plug in the back of the trailer and we just stand in a big bucket. We have one of those heaters you can set in the bucket but it takes forever, so we usually just use our coffee pot to heat up water or put a pot on the campfire.

Location: Alabama | I will add a folding table, chairs, paracord & tarps. We have used tarps to add shade to the awning/easy up & also to block wind on cold days. Setting up a table outside the trailer provides a "countertop". Usually the inside of the trailer has very limited space to put food, paper products, bug spray, etc that you will need throughout the weekend. Paracord can be used for the tarps, hanging things, etc. |
