What are some good riding jeans that have a large opening at the bottom? I can't seem to find any that my boots aren't super tight at the bottom of the leg!

I'm a die-hard Rock and Roll Cowgirl fan. The mid-rise fit me like a glove and have more of the flared boot opening you're talking about. Another jean I like a lot that has a really wide boot opening, but sometimes they're a little snugger in the thigh than I like and a bit loose in the waist on me, is Buckle's Big Star Maddie jean. I have a couple pairs of those because sometimes I don't like all the bling on the pockets that the R&R jeans have.

I love rock n roll cowgirl, Wrangler Shiloh and big star.
No bling but i like the stitching on the pockets and thicker seems.
My biggest thing is that I dont ever spend over 50$ on jeans (i am just too hard on them and wear them out) so if I cant find rock n roll's or big star's on sale i dont buy them at full price. The Wrangler Shiloh are already priced below that so that is what I have been buying the last couple years.

Cruel Girl Georgia's are getting hard to find but are my favorite! No spandex!!! I don't like having my thighs squeezed like sausages! Lol. And the denim is thicker. I wear through stretch type denim ridiculously fast for wha you have to give for a pair of jeans these days.

I'm also a big clearance rack shopper though so I also buy whatever I can get for $10-$30. I'll also buy men's Cinches if they're on the clearance rack and the right style/size.

I have good luck with Big Stars, R&R Cowgirls and 7FAM, and I also dislike paying full price! I use an app called Poshmark, where you can sell your clothes and buy from other people and have found NWT jeans for extremely cheap! I have sold lots of clothes that I have worn once, or purchased with the intent of wearing and never got around to. It's free to sign up, and you can just browse, you don't have to list things to look. You can make offers and bundles on other people's items, and it has a great community. Plus flat rate 2-3 day priority shipping!

It's been a few months since I have bought a pair but I constantly check ebay and amazon. I find most on ebay.... unless you're the same size as me... then i have no idea where to buy them.

You can find Big Star and some other good brands on 6PM.com for a discounted price! They have a few western brands on there.

I also like to wear Kimes Ranch jeans. They have a few different styles, but I personaly like the "Jolene". I think they were $99 though when I got them, however they are a nice sturdy jean.

Big Star...look on eBay. thats where I buy ALL my Cowgirl Tuff, Rock Revival, Miss Me, Ariat....just be a tad patient, what you're looking for will come up eventually, and Ebay will even send you text alerts to let you know when a new similar product is put up for sale...

Your problem is not the brand of jean your problem is the cut of the jean. Each brand has different cuts of jeans. For example: Cruel Girl Georgia Relaxed Stonewash Bootcut Jean in Petite Length. Cruel Girl is the brand, Georgia is the style/Rise/design, Relaxed is the pant fit, Stonewash is the color, and bootcut is the leg fit. Petite is the inseam length.

Straight leg -Straight down, sits stacked on the boot
Bootcut -more of a bell shaped bottom, fits over boot.
Regular -smaller than the bootcut, larger than the straight leg, fits over boot.
Flare -Bell bottom that starts to widen at the knee, covers boot completely in some instances.

Fit of jean matters as well for each individuals body type and needs:
Relaxed fit - Loose hip, thigh, knee, and ankle. (usually paired with a straight leg, or a bootcut)
Regular Fit- Regular hip, thigh, knee, and ankle. (universal with all leg cuts)
Curvy Fit -usually cotton with lots of stretch, fits close to the body, almost hugs your curves. (usually paired with a flare or bootcut leg.)
Skinny Fit -no stretch, smaller in the hip, knee, thigh, and ankle. (Usually paired with a straight leg.)

You have a regular inseam, a petite inseam, and a long inseam. Each varies by maker of the jean.
I would find a fit you prefer and then look online for cheaper options. Keep in mind, the heavier the jean, the longer each pair will last.

Anything Wrangler gets my vote.  QBaby is so comfortable while riding.  I also wear the Mae, Shiloh and Cash. Love my Wrangler jeans.

I'm very particular on how they fit over my boots also....silly fetish.
I actually take a seam ripper and rip anywhere from and inch to inch and half on the seam that is light. (You'll know which side). I then match the thread and sew a nice seam around the slit, works like a charm and have been doing it since my high school years. And looks almost professional. I like the original Cowgirl Tuff jeans but never liked how they fit over my boots so have always added a slit in them. BKE usually fit nice over my boots and like how they fit but don't care to ride in them as I feel like my crack hangs out in them.
