Are you REALLY surprised?!
I really was Ashley!! Scientology and Taylor Swift on the cover with not even an itty bitty blurb of Harvey------yeah, I was kinda beyond irritated. . . .TS and the Kardashian/West argument---who gives a rat's flying rear when people/animals are dying and losing everything. Do I just expect too much from humanity 
I'm gonna edit that to say SOME of humanity, because overall, America/TX/LA etc have rallied and showed their true colors

The media tends to get on my nerves! The sad thing is- they won't take a positive viewpoint on it and highlight any of the things you just said. They will pick Trump apart, yell about who got look, who got caught cheating. It's kinda sick. I've literally watched the weather channel primarily for Harvey coverage because they tend to see the siney side of the recovery efforts! I talked to one of my oldest childhood friends last week and her and her parents both lost their homes. It still makes me sick to my stomach to think of the devastation. |

You do realize that the "layout", cover and stories, etc are in the works WEEKS before publication date ..... additionally, People Magazine is an "Entertainment" magazine and not usually viewed as a NEWS source. |

Oh my gosh, once again the voice of reason. It takes more then a week to put together a publication of that size. Not like they could redo the whole concept and layout in a week. Exactly how far into "Harvey" do you think the magazine had to be completed and sent to print and distribution? I feel sure that it took some last minute adjustments to include the pages that were done on Harvey.
It appears to me that everyone on both sides of the aisle are just trolling for something to be ****ed about. |

I didn't mean in any way to fuss (or worse!) or be mad--I just was seriously shocked that it was only two pages of pictures. And they were all pictures of people helping, etc. Positive things. Probably next week will be more info. . . .
