Im sure this been asked before but I lost one of my horses the other day and I saved some of his mane I also have a couple other horses mane laying around that I lost thru the years I have seen some neat bracelets Does anyone on here do them or have another idea?
Also, when my horse colic it was a weird colic I don't want to go into too many details bc still very painful, but has anyone experience a horse's blood not clotting?

So sorry for your loss, seems like several of our BHW family lost some of their family members the last few days.

Sorry for your loss :
( I usually see bracelets and key chains made most often, but I think eventually you have to worry about some the wear from use. A friend of mine used tail hairs to make a braided border around a barn wood picture frame, then put a picture of the horse in the frame. You could probably still so some kind of feature that way with mane on a frame. I think that's something that would be lasting and durable. or you could see if someone could make you a hat band or tassel to add to a hat band and put it on your cowboy hat.

So sorry for your loss!!
Was looking into bracelets and such when I lost my mare last year, but was worried about either losing it or wear and tear, so I had a statue made with pieces of her tail in it. You can find some really nice things here:
