Re: Remembering 9/11 (2017)
I was 16 years old. I remember sitting in the hallway at school waiting for the bell to ring. One of my friends came in and was just sick. He told us that we were probably going to war and would be drafted as soon as we graduated. He was a year older than me. We went to our first period computer class when our teacher had the TV on. There we watched the second plane hit the WTC. I remember how confused we all were. Why would someone do this? It has changed our lives and perspectives forever. The blessing that resulted though was how the entire country came together as One Nation Under GOD. God bless America, we sure do need it.

Re: Remembering 9/11 (2017)
I was 14, in history class in high school. My mom worked there and I remember going to her for comfort and my history teacher telling all of us kids to remember this day because it would go down in history. Sad, sad day. Prayers to the families.

Re: Remembering 9/11 (2017)
Getting ready to go to work. Turned on the TV and couldn't believe my eyes. It was surreal. I remember my mother telling me how when Pearl Harbor was attacked fear totally gripped the whole nation. I think our nation realized that same fear on 9/11.

A day to never forget. Living just a short drive from NYC, it hit close to home. My father who was running late that morning saw it from a bridge nearby.

Re: Remembering 9/11 (2017)
Thank you for setting aside this time to pay tribute to those whose lives were lost on this day 16 years ago. May we never forget the price that freedom costs! Lots of heroes that day lost there lives helping others. I pray for each family that still deals with those losses. May we all come together as we did right after 9/11 and lift America up instead of trying to tear it down from the inside!
