Location: In the Hills of Texas | Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Implements Clear Bag Policy for all Performances Rodeo begins December 7 and runs for ten consecutive nights
In order to enhance public safety and make venue access more efficient at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, Las Vegas Events announced today that it will implement a new security policy regulating the size and type of bag that may be carried into the Thomas & Mack Center. The clear bag policy will begin on Thursday, Dec. 7 and continue for the duration of the event, which culminates on Saturday, Dec. 16.
“Following the NFL’s lead along with other professional and collegiate programs, we believe it is prudent to implement the clear bag policy,” said LVE President Pat Christenson. “Fan safety, security and enjoyment is a top priority for us. We believe this policy is an important enhancement to the security measures already put in place at the Thomas & Mack Center.”
Fans are encouraged not to bring any types of bags inside the Thomas & Mack Center. However, the following outlines bags that are permitted:
• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12";
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar); and
• Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5" x 6.5" (approximately the size of a hand).
** An exception will be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag; briefcases; backpacks, cinch bags, and fanny packs that are not clear and/or exceed the size restriction; luggage of any kind; computer bags/cases; camera bags/cases; binocular bags/cases or any bag larger than the permissible size.
Fans will continue to be able to carry items allowed into the stadium in a permissible clear bag, such as binoculars and small hand-held cameras.
LVE invites and encourages fans to click here for more information, to view pictures of permissible and non-permissible items and to obtain answers to frequently asked questions about the clear bag policy. This information will be accessible on the website throughout the year to assist fans and provide information.

Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | I used to have several clear bags with tooled leather straps and leather bindings because that's all we could carry when I worked at the prison. I wish I would have kept them- I could make a killing with the fashionistas now!!! |

Holy Cow Couture just introduced a line of those! You were so cutting edge!
I don't mind it, I don't really have much in a purse anyway that I need and a men's bi fold wallet is easier to keep close and secure in a crowd. |

I never carried a purse in. There were too many dang people to wag that much stuff around. I carried money in my pocket, a camera and my phone... that's all I need! |

Do you remember where you got the bags from? They sound like really neat bags. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | I don't mind it at all and posted it as a public service so you can be prepared. I only carry a small clutch when we go as there isn't room for a big purse in the stands.
You can buy the clear purses on Amazon. |

Location: Kansas | This is all the result of our ongoing fight against terrorism. Interesting that liberal cities like San Francisco are now going to allow non-citizens to vote. In other words, terrorists and lawbreakers in general can now be allowed to help choose our lawmakers and indeed be lawmakers themselves.

I had an inmate make them at our craft shop at the unit I worked at. Mom and I looked this morning to see if I kept them... of course not! |

I bet anyone that works with leather could make these bags.. Next time I go to New Braunfels I'll stop in the leather shop there and ask about making them , IF I CAN remember. |
