I buy socks in the Sporting Goods section in Walmart. Super comfy and warm! I also love my mitten pull-up gloves from the men's department in Walmart. You can either have the mitten part over your fingers or lift and Velcro it back so your fingers are exposed and it's easier for me to grab onto things or ride.

A silk wild rag is a must-have for me. It's amazing what a difference they make.

Yes, wild rags for sure. I like Cuddle Duds long underwear or fleece lined jeans. Thinsulate gloves, warm but not bulky and SmartWool socks.

Wild rags for sure!

Most of what I do at home in the winter is just conditioning since we have to haul out to an indoor so I usually ride in my rope saddle (more room) and carhart coveralls. I wear Ariat terrains and good wool socks. I’ve thought about getting a pair of BOT socks to try too. I have a long sleeve BOT shirt and it is super warm.

I use my hunting suit and finger less gloves that have a removable cover and an extra long beanie. I always end up having to unzip though because I live in the south.

Ditto to all of this. Pretty much my attire for a good 4 months! Also, the Under Armour 4.0 line is fan-freakin-tastic for the brutal cold we have. It works!

Same as above, but I like a face mask & stocking cap.  I can work around being cold as long as I keep my hands, feet and face warm.  So good gloves, socks, and a face mask/stocking cap are key for me.

Ski bibs are a must for me, not as bulky as Carharts. You can put a hoodie or coat under them and your saddle horn is accessible at all times.

How do you guys ride in all that gear? We don't have winters like you do, I might put on a Carthart jacket and it drives me nuts, so bulky...my attire for the winter time is usually a zip up hoodie! LOL!

I live all year in my BOT stuff but the socks are diffently one thing I could live without. My feet never get warm in them, I think it is the material.

I got muck boots last year that are also riding boots. I love them. They're insulated, and I don't have to switch boots from catching them in the field to riding.

I also have some Ariat insulated and waterproof paddock boots that I like a lot.
