| Iβve got thicker harness leather with a paracord lace that I like pretty well. My older pair is nice and broke in. Iβve got a newer pair that I need to use more as theyβre still pretty stiff. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Go to some of the handmade cowboy tack trade pages... the best leather reins aren't advertised on google ;) Many makers can make you a pair of weighted barrel reins.
Ask for the weighted, hand rubbed and hot oiled reins. You'll never go back after you spoil yourself to a pair. |

Location: Louisiana | Hands down, the laced leather reins from L&W. My old pair were old when they came with a horse 7 years ago, I just replaced them and 5 rides in they're broke in and so so soft. |

| I apologize in advance that I don't know the brand or really the technical terms to describe them, but my husband bought me a pair about 6-7 years ago, that I love. They are round braided leather with rawhide "knots" that slide. He also got me a pair without the rawhide to rope with, and I love them too. The leather is so soft and the reins are very thin, which I personally prefer, I don't like a lot there to mess with, especially roping. |

Ed Wright reins Β
I second this. Ed Wright reins are my absolute favorite, so supple yet not flimsy, and great quality! |
