Do the seats run true to size or snug in Caldwell saddles?

I have a Caldwell TG and it runs a little big. Measures 14.5 but fits more like a 15. Depends on how the swell and horn are angled I guess

My caldwells fit tighter more than what the actual seat size was. ANd main thing, they don't fit " Man" parts very well. Always an issue. SO much so thats why I sold all 3 of them despite them fitting my horses. I could have had one made for me, but didn't want to wait a year..

I would say they fit a littler snugger. Not much but a little. I always rode in a 15 in other saddles. I have a 15.25 in a Caldwell and I would say it fits like a 15.

It depends on the rise. I have the Equatation rise and I have a 14 3/4" that fits like a 14.5" because of the rise. The flatter the rise...the more room you will have.

Ditto on the seat rise!! If you order a high rise, you may consider increasing seat by 1/4-1/2".

The TG's definitely run bigger because of the cut out on the swells. I bought a 1/2 inch smaller and could have gone 3/4 inch smaller.
