I am looking at switching my gelding to a Jr Cow horse Bit but trying to decide between the dogbone and chain mouthpiece. Which one is your favorite and why? TIA!

i've had more luck with most horses loving the dogbone mouthpiece. I have had a few that couldn't stand the chain. I have both lol

RE: Dogbone vs Chain Mouthpiece
I've had a lot of luck with dogbone mouthpieces on different sized shank bits. My horses seem to respond to the three pieces better than the chain, which I feel is because it breaks on each side of the dogbone, and has more control than the chain, at least in my experience.
