I'm rooting for her to pick up a check...come on Kimmie!!! Such a tough pen for that horse! Does she have a backup horse she can ride??

I am REALLY enjoying the fire her horse has coming in there. You can't fault the horse for really working that second barrel. Such a small pen that a lot of them are settling into their turns really quickly. I wish every gal broke into the top 7 for a check this year.

I really like to see everyone successful. None of those ladies got there hitting barrels. They are under a lot of pressure and the arena is a basketball court for UNLV. Very small and hard to run in. I think most horses are used to running in a lot larger pens.

I read in Amber's interview that her favorite part from last night was when Kimmie ran out of the alley and all of the girls were clapping and cheering. I just love that. I screamed at my screen when she left the 2nd barrel up too! Lol!

At the risk of being strung up...if you watch Kimmie’s runs, they’ve all been the exact same. Where she’s been hitting 2nd, that’s a jockey error. Last night she finally held Foxy straighter longer and she got by it. The mare is working. Her jockey wasn’t helping her enough. That isn’t saying Kimmie can’t ride. It’s simply stating a fact.

I love Kimmie Wall and Foxy, they were my favorite team last year but not to be the odd man out but every single one of her runs has felt out of control and wild to me. There is just something different about that team this year. I want to see that Kimmie and Foxy we saw last year! I loved watching them!

I know it has to be hard on them standing in that tunnel every night, but that dang Foxy almost hurt some people tonight. Kudos to Ivy for dealing with all that and being able to hold her composure and go make a smoking run.

Definitely scary for Foxy too. I cant decide whats worse, her blowing into Ivy or getting tangled in that gate.

All i saw at first was legs and that dang gate about to meet and get all tangled up, and I just held my breath for Foxy. Then the gate guy was trying to crawl up the side of the wall---so scary.

I can't even begin to imagine the nerves and amped up feelings running thru that alley, everyone feeding off everyone else's "vibe". Probably surprising there aren't some real wrecks or injuries back there. Hope the last round is a safe and calmer one for the ladies and their four legged partners

I do agree with you, no flaming here..........it seems that the only adjustment has been to let Foxy run the entire length of the alley, which scares the heck out of me because I keep thinking Kemmie's left leg is going to get caught really bad. It is an extremely stressful, hard arena setting but they have been at it a long time and should have a way to deal with this set up/situation. My thought is, Foxy should be out back loping circles to burn off some energy before having to line up. Foxy is just not doing well being so fresh, maybe being a little winded would help both of them settle and focus. JMO

I love Kimmie and Foxy, I was so proud of them when I heard that they were going to Vegas this year, but it's been a really tough year for them and it's been a tough tough NFR. I'm sure the past few runs she's been thinking that she needs to hold Foxy straighter, but running in there with the lights and sounds and everything we all know that thinking can just go it the window and you just do you, even if that means you make mistakes. Been there, done that lol. As for letting Foxy take off so far back, I was sort of expecting something like last night to happen, even if it broke my heart to see it. We don't know what Foxy needs to run best and Kimmie is the best jockey for her right now and I'm sure she's doing everything she can to help her horse and herself. I hope they have a killer round tonight and have some fun.

I am no trainer or even have a good eye, but I could swear I saw Kimmie shift her hips toward the barrels and as soon as she did Foxy turned, I mean almost simultaneously. I could not stay with a horse that quick. I am sure that Kimmie is doing everything possible for her great mare and as much as I would live to seeHailey win the round tonight, I think I would love even more to see Kimmie lay down the winning run tonight

I wish she'd make her walk and get her listening more. Kassie, Ivy, even Tiany have their's listening in the alley. Kassie and Tiany don't even need a helper walking them...they have control of the horse. I"m Foxy scared is gonna take Kimmie's leg off it's so dangerous to let a horse do that and we saw the consequences from doing that last night in round 8. People get hurt.

Not every horse can walk in. One of the reasons Ivy started on JLo she said was because she didn’t want Tibby having to wait so long to run. Scamper was another that couldn’t walk in

I so agree with this. I’m all for giving your horse the best shot to win, but she put others at risk last night. Not to mention had that gate been latched she could have very well broken a leg!! Usually horses of that caliber are pretty quiet and patient due to the 10,000 different set ups they encounter all year. I bet she has a different game plan tonight!

ALL horses of that caliber can and will respect a bit. The rider just has to make them. I know Ivy and Kelly both make Tibby light and listen. Tibby actually is very light just like the brother Kelly ran in the super stakes. She didn't want Tibby getting nervous. Respect and nerves are too very different things and no I didn't literally mean walk...I meant have control of. Scamper never ran out of control down an alley either.
