Location: "Si Fi" Ville | Nothing phases this filly. Bold as heck. And she’s the most athletic horse I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned quite a few. She lacks nothing in the speed department however she has FDD and Bugs Alive for a bottom side. She gets into everything, loves mud and water. She reminds me of a velociraptor on Jurassic Park. Big thinker. Cool headed. |

This is good to know, since yours has a lot of run on the dam's side. We will be breeding our daughter of Big Brown to FGG this spring, so I am excited to see the cross! Please keep us posted on your girl! |

Great, thank you! On paper, she looks like an athletic bugger too! |

| We have had three directly out of him and two grand get. Only one was ridden before they sold BUT the others were super easy to work with and be around. The one in the vid below was a stallion at the time. Very mature, very trainable, very talented. He'd get a little studdy but I really haven't handled a stallion before so nothing to compare it to. A divorce the end of his three year old year sent him off but until then he was sure fun. We have a 2017 buckskin filly for sale too that we won't feel too bad if we end up keeping. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK7pY54Kg1o http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/famous+son+of+a+gun |

FGG had a FB video posted of Famous Son of a Gun running the barrels and he was wicked athletic! It's great to know they're so easy on the ground! Is the buckskin filly a full sibling? |

| Sadly not a full sibling. Out of a Cowan bred mare. Hef 's(Famous Son of a Gun) daughter out of that mare looks and moves just like himj (just a little fancier dressed) so we are hopeful. |

I love what I’m seeing!!!
That’s a true FGG! Mellow as a Sunday morning under cozy flannel sheets, but quicker than granny’s 20 cats after the last rat in the barn.

HA! This cracked me up. I am so excited to breed our mare to him this spring after she foals out her Hired Gun baby.

I might go crazy with the wait, since we will be breeding her late this spring. She’s due to foal soon (311 days today and looking like a tank), and that sire is Hired Gun. Since there aren’t many of his foals on the ground, I’m excited to see how that one grows up!
A lot of the Playguns I’ve been around were very curious and playful, but I haven’t been able to find much about Firewater Fiesta’s personality, except the famous story about her being in that barn fire and Kelly saving her, and the bond that formed. So I wonder what she was like to be around.
My husband cracked up at your description of them being like velociraptors |
