Location: Arizona | I am thinking about changing up my mare's supplements. Her stomach seems a bit sensitive. I had her on Animal Element Detox which is awesome but I think she's gaining too much weight on this. I am looking to add a little pep to her as well. I have looked into Smooth Run, Oxygen Products, OE, etc...what are you guys feeding? I am looking for an all around supplement that won't break the bank.
Thanks. |

| I am really pleased with Bio Star supplements. I use their all around supplement. He loves it, he moves his cubes around so he can eat it first. You can feed one scoop/day or 2. I feed 2 because our round bales this time of year are not the highest quality. |

Location: my piece of paradise | T.H.E. Equine hands down. Everything in my barn is on Muscle Mass with ulcer, joint, gluchon and bleeder/allergy. Its great because I only have to feed one scoop a day. I also have had some great results with the gastroPLUS and moody mare. My new favorite is the Red Blood Cell. I have been a lixotinic user for years and still believe its one of the few things that actually works. The red blood cell by T.H.E. has really impressed me with similar results. |

| For a sensitive stomach I'd look into Performance Equine Probiotics.

Location: ND | I've pretty much quit feeding supplements. I feed one horse THE's breathing supplement as he has allergies & it really helps him. But all my horses look just as good & ride great......at much less cost than when I was trying all the different supplements! They all have access to loose salt & mineral & that's all I do anymore. |

If she's gaining noticeable weight on a supplement maybe it's actually doing what she needs it to allowing her to gain weight?? I don't know why you would want to move away from it? Maybe just work on her conditioning (and I have zero idea what it's currently like)?? Just throwing options out there.. |

My thoughts too, I try to stay away from supplements but sometimes we do need to add.. So which breathing supplement is it that you are using on your horse from T.H.E.? |

It's the Perfomance blend with 3x bleeder, breathing & cough added. |

Location: Missouri | It sounds like to me the AE detox is doing its job! You might look at your Feed and you might can cut that back or a little more exercise for your horse is needed. |

I'm thinking of trying the COPD supplement.. This one gelding has allergies and I have notice mucus in his water sometimes, If this weather will clear up for awhile I want to take him and get him scoped, but for now I thought I'll try something different for a few months to see if theres any more improvement. |
