Making it to the Finals speaks for itself, so no snarky comments are needed.  But on page 32 of the magazine is a article on Kathy Grimes, has anyone else noticed her bit is upside down?  If you turn the page, those two pictures it's right side up.  I know with all they are obligated to do for the meet and greets, taking care of their horses, and themselves is hectic as all get out.  I saw all 10 rounds and I don't remember her having a extremely bad pattern, so that speaks of her abilities and her mounts.  Someone just oopsed.

On a side note I asked a young teenager at a show a couple of weeks ago, did she realise her bit was upside down?  Her reply was, yes ma'am she doesn't work as good with it right side up.  I told her, well baby you do whatever makes her work the best.

I saw it.  I'm sure that whomever was changing out her tack sets each night made a mistake when putting the bit on the headstall.

Kathy is a hand and that horse is pure gold to still work with the uh oh of the bit. You can put bailing twine in some of their mouths and they will still go in and drill 3 in the ground, its a testament to her training and the horse's want to

This photo made me giggle.
Whoever tacked her horse up for her must have been in a hurry.

that's an Elliot or a marker that has copied his style but I'd bet its an original and i'd have to compare shanks on his website to know which one exactly as i'm not enough of a bit addict to have his memorized.....YET lol

The two holes on the bottom are supposed to go up top: one for the curb and one for the headstall to loop through, one hole at the bottom for the reins.

I didn't notice the bit (aren't I the observant one?) but I enjoyed that article.
