Location: Colorado | Who has done this without any problems? I'll be bringing two up from sea level to 8400ft (south Texas to western Colorado). I have a place I can keep them (near their new home but at about 5000ft) for a few acclimation days, but wasn't sure if I needed to find another resting period between 0ft and 5000ft. |

Location: Idaho | I moved back from South Texas to North Idaho and didnt have a problem with mine at all! I did give him a week off and then picked up on the riding again. I moved back in August so he didnt have a lot of time before winter hit and besides having double blankets most of the winter he has handled it very well!  |

| The move itself won’t be a problem. But you’ll just have acclimate over time as far as the lung capacity goes. |

Location: North Central Iowa Land of white frozen grass | We vacation in the Big Horn mountain's 9,100 ft at camp and ride up to over 11,000 ft. Leave home in Iowa at 1,087 ft in morning and are trail riding the next day at over 9,000 ft. We have never had a problem since 1992. |

Do you come to Buffalo or Sheridan? We live in Buffalo....
I have moved horses multiple times from Texas to Wyoming/Utah. They never have had any issues. We usually go right to work with them. |

We LOVE it here!!! Best little town ever. Maybe next time you are we will run into each other. Hunter Corrals does get a bit over populated from spring to fall. |

Location: Where the buffalo roam | When living in Nevada we always went from our 5,500 foot elevation over Donner Pass (7,000 foot) to sea level in California for races with no problem. I find elevation isn't such a big thing, as much as climate difference. |
