Location: where the wind blows | 24 hours ago there was a tragic crash in my province in Saskatchewan. A junior A hockey team was travelling to a game and the bus was t boned by a semi truck. Of the 29 on the bus 15 have died. Others are in critical condition. Our province is small and if you didnt personally know someone in the accident you know someone who did. I'm however once again proud of this province and the outpouring of love and support that is being extended to this community of 5000. A go fund me page has raised over 1 million in less then 24 hours. I escaped to the arena this afternoon to ride and get a break from the sadness of the coverage that has filled my FB news team and all our local news channels. Our province is in a state of shock and sadness. Please pray for these families and this community. |

Location: North of the 49th Parallel | I'm not surprised to see the level of support across Canada and the hockey and sporting communities. This accident hits so close to home as someone who's ridden a team bus to minor league sports, many a time. Such a heart wrenching accident. I didn't know anyone in that accident personally, but many people on my FB knew someone in that tragedy. #HumboldtStrong.
