Location: Somewhere around here | I have a silly pet peeve, and I wish I didn't have it because I'd be able to have more girly tack, but I can't stand seeing geldings in pink/floral/super girly tack. I know it doesn't matter, but I just can't do it to my own horse, it makes me feel bad for him lol.
Anyone have any silly pet peeves they want to share?? |

| I have a couple. The tack one is when people take two different colored boots for their horse and put one color on one hind leg and other color on the other. Same with front. Like pink LH and RF and purple on the other two legs. My biggest pet peeves Ever , is barrel races not starting on time !!! |

Location: At the race track with Ah Dee Ohs | I wouldn't put pink on a gelding either. I wouldn't put pink on anything! Haha! I typically am not a blingy person. Just give me a nice laether bridle and I'm good. |

| Fringe tack in general. All that crap flopping around has to be distracting.
Jean's with bling. Like who wants a neon sign across their butt? |

Location: Kansas | I have no idea why you would take a beautiful horse of any gender and cover it with bling, fringe, oversized headstalls with lots of carving on it. Zebra striped polo wraps or boots. bronc halters......oh, I could go on all day. Stick to basics. Let these horses breathe. |

I don't mind bling although some people take it to a new level that's for sure. I don't mind fringe either. I don't mind pink on a gelding, not that I would do it but hey, to each its own! But my biggest pet peeve is (and please don't flame me for it): if you are going to wear a helmet, please adjust your chin strap nice and tight. I see all this people wearing helmets but they are not tight at all and that is a lot more dangerous than not wearing one.
And for the record, I am not a helmet nazi... again, to each its own. |

| I hate being matchy-matchy. I have plain headstalls and not overly obnoxious breast collars. The blingy matching tack sets are a hard pass for me lol |

Yyyyyeeeeeeessasssss!
And rear cinches that have a 4-6β gap because they are so loose. You donβt have to cut them in half but on top of risking catching a foot in a fall that has to be annoying flopping around back there. Take it up a little or take it off!!! |

| I hate it when people don't use bit guards with sliding gags. I can't IMAGINE how painful it is when the bit pinches their lips and guards are CHEAP! |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | My Pet Peeves, are people who want to talk about themselves only me me me me me.. The Gossips, ones that DONT mine their own bussiness, ones that love talking about others and pointing fingers, people who are always tooting their own horn, someone that has to tell the whole world they have a Grand/World Champion horse over and over in what ever discipline, I have some race horse friends that can drive me coo coo LOL you got the humble horse people and then the not so humble talking about their horses, complainers/whining all the time cause its not going their way. Tack dont bother me at all its their horse and they can use what ever tack floats their boat, non of my bussiness but I do hate seeing a to loose of a back cinch and a tie down thats not adjusted right or a halter laying to low on a horses face, as with a hackamore not sitting right.. There now I think I listed most of them I know theres more but this is enought for now

Location: Oklahoma | I hate it when people post their runs on fb and say I won out of 200 racers or was 2nd out of 200 racers or I would have won if I hadn't knocked a barrel out of 350 racers. I think you should be proud no matter how many is there! and even if just 10 racers usually its gonna be saucy anyways! So just post your beautiful run and say your proud that you even got to be there! I don't care if you won or not I just love seeing the runs. And if I know the arena I'm gonna pretty much figure out that you ran at the top! lol
Don't get me wrong nothing wrong stating how you placed its just the wording that gets me sometimes.
