Elite Veteran Posts: 974 Location: USA	Every time it rains, my 2 year old comes in 3 legged lame from an abscess. Seriously. Every. Time. I don’t want to keep him in the stall for the 2 weeks it takes to dry out, depending on how bad the rain was. Any other suggestions? I was thinking of getting him some hoof boots to put on when I know it’ll rain.

Scooters Savior Location: "Si Fi" Ville	I wonder if some type of oily thick hoof treatment would work? It not only moistens a bit but repels water from soaking up in the hoof.
