I have my horse turned out 24/7 I'm feeding renewgold I want to add some alfalfa pellets I am out of good alfalfa hay until they start cutting. My pasture is decent how many lbs. of pellets can I feed to keep them looking good.she looks awesome from being on good alfalfa all year I want to maintain her weight and health.

Go to their web site at the top of the page here and you can read up on it, It says it can be fed 1/2 to 1 and a half pounds daily depends on how hard your horse is working..

You should be able to replace lb for lb alfalfa pellets. With them on decent pasture I wouldn't worry too much but if they weren't I'd want to add something for longstem fiber.
ETA: this is what I've done with replacing alfalfa with alfalfa cubes. Would think it is the same?
