How often did you use it during rehab? Every day? Every other? For how many weeks? |

For suspensory lesions I’ll use it every day for the first month to 6 weeks, then every other day for at least another 1-3 mo. The horse’s body drastically slows down the healing process after 8 weeks, so that’s when the laser becomes very useful to stimulate healing.
For bruising and such it’s at least every other day. |

| My dad's clinic has a class 4 laser and I can't say enough how great it is for stimulating healing. Have used on things from a capped hock, tendon injuries, sore hocks, a huge leg would, etc.. Of course treatments vary, but do a series of 6-8 or so treatments every other day typically. |

| I love my cold laser - a good friend of ours is the trainer for the Kansas City Royals and got us hooked on them, The lasers are a huge part of their program in keeping their players going. My friend also came from a race horse family and understands horses and shared alot of tips they use on MLB players that works on horses.
Liana and I use the same brand of cold lasers. I use mine most on a knee that was damaged when my horse fell on me. I get alot of relief from the using the laser but you most be consistent and one treatment is not enough in most cases to get desired results. I.ve also used the blue light on my skin infections from rubbing skin raw scratching bug bites ( ugh I know) and have avoided antibiotics with the laser. |

I purchased the Vetrolaser. It's a class 3b and very economical. |
