Quick question, hoping someone has the answer to. I made a barn quilt for my folks over the weekend. I used outdoor paint
(Benjamin Moore
) several coats on each color. Well decided it needed a clear coat to kind of give it a shine, just grabbed the first polyurethane out of the cabinet and clear coated away. I get done and realized I used indoor urethane. Im upset with myself for not being more careful. So using GOOGLE to look some things up. Most people say not to clear coat a barn quilt as long as you used outdoor paint, makes it easer for touchups. Then wondering if I can go over it with an outdoor urethane? It sounds like I can and it will adhere but may still chip off due to the indoor stuff not being made for outdoors?!
So any suggestions? Or experience out there? Should I leave it, it will probably peel off but should peel off my paint.
Do I go over it with some outdoor urethane and hope for the best?
Thank you!!

Yes, go over it with outdoor poly.

just make sure you lightly sand the indoor stuff before you put the other on, should be fine.
