Location: Arkansas | I have a 39 year old gelding (Dan), and he came out of winter looking very bad. I truly thought in April I was gonna have to make some hard decisions. After a pm with Mr Win about changing his diet just a touch, I ordered some Forco from NeverTooOld. . . . He will be on that product til he leaves me for greener pastures in the sky. He's put on some much needed weight, he's shiny, and feels good---I'm just amazed overall, but his manure is the biggest thing for me. . . I have owned Doodlebug for 19 years, and I simply cannot tell you the last time he had normal poo!! HE ACTUALLY HAD HORSE APPLES IN HIS STALL YESTERDAY
(I told Miss Kathie, NTO, that non-horse folks just don't understand the giddiness from having normal poo---but I know y'all do!!!)
Miss Roxie is gonna post some pictures for me. I'd like more weight on him, but I feel so blessed to have him looking like he does and for the help I've received from Miss Kathie and Mr Win
I'll say again---I love this site and the wonderful, helpful folks I've encountered |

We started everything April 19, the day I took those first pictures. I have about another week or so left in the first container of Forco, and I've already received the second shipment!! |

| Forco is the bomb! I've tried other similar products but never get the same results. There's no comparison. I don't currently have anyone on it but that's definitely my go to if I feel like one needs a pick me up or is having diarrhea issues. |

There you go my friend, now tell a little about him , And I would like to see the whole Dan not just his belly and butt, lol..Β So send me a picture of Dan so I can post it here for you, I would love to see that face of hisΒ
You'll be sorry you asked about him!!! I try not to talk about my individual "kids" on here cause I tend to gush and go overboard!!
He was the first horse I owned after my wreck. I bought him in September, 1999. He was dog gentle and took care of me from day one. I've had a covey of quail fly up literally under his belly and he never acknowledged that anything happened. He was the first horse for Chandler and still the horse Chan says is his and that will never leave this farm. I could ride him bareback with a halter and lead rope. There were many times I'd go down for just a short ride around the ponds---I'd get on him without my prosthesis, annnnddd promptly fall off the other side!!! He'd bend his head around and just look at me like "what are you doing down there"!!! My other gelding would give me the same look cause I was laying in the alley way between them. Dan was patient while I learned to not be so "enthusiastic" on my mounting routine!! He can't see very well anymore, and he's been retired from riding for years. He has hardly any teeth, so his tongue hangs out most of the time---he's very juicy when you're near him!!! He has been my friend, my confidant, my counselor, and my heart; his mane has soaked up many tears when I went thru my divorce and needed a non judgmental listener. . . . He gets the best I can provide him and always will. I've had people tell me that he's old and not rideable anymore and not worth keeping alive---well, y'all can just imagine how that sits with me. Dan owes me nothing and has paid for his lifetime care from me in spades.
I told you you would be sorry you asked, Miss Roxie!!!! |
