boon Posts: 1	Hello everyone Been a while since I've posted. But I thought if anyone would know a solution, it would be you ladies! I'm running into serious issues getting my horse moved from Kentucky to Colorado. I moved out here in January, but I couldn't haul him at the time. I have a horse trailer, but no truck. I was simply going up rent a truck, but on top of milage and gas in the thing, they want $350 a day to rent one for a one way trip! Any suggestions. I'm racking my brain. My friend is keeping him for me, but I don't want to keep paying her to board him indefinitely. I really want my boy out here and I don't know anyone who will haul him. Thanks.

Veteran Posts: 262	On FB there are several groups you can join that have haulers posting their routes and people requesting their horse be hauled. If you can find a hauler that needs to fill a hole you might get a lower “fill” rate. Generally a normal rate is about $1 a mile but could be more or less depending on hauler and situation.
