Location: Ky | Seems the owner may sell Wrangler/Lee. I would think they would still be produced. Just a different owner.

They will use the increased revenue to invest in Active and Outdoor wear.

  Whack and Roll

Location: NE Texas | Wrangler/Lee is owned by Vanity Fair. The denim business, especially ladies, has been on a rapid decline since the "ath-leisure" and skinny jean trend has gotten so popular. Those that do wear jeans, especially women, shop more designer brands like Seven and other trendy brands. The business just isn't there to support the industry. I work for a company that manufactures western accessories (belts, handbags, etc...basically everything but apparel) and ladies accessory sales have been way down since the apparel trends don't support the wear of belts and other similar type accessories. Ladies clothing, shirts especially, are meant to be worn untucked, and everything is more athletic/tech based in the casual wear. I don't know if it's true that VF is considering selling Wrangler, but I don't see that happening. The reduction of ladies denim and apparel....I do see that potentially. We need the kippy belt/corral boot phase to come back! Shop your local western retailer, buy western brands of denim and clothing, support the industry to keep these businesses producing apparel. |

Location: Illinois | I'm not really worried about them not being made anymore, someone will step up & continue production whether they keep production, spin off the company/someone buys them out, etc. My interest is how it will change the rodeo scene if "Wrangler" is no longer a part of the mix as the major supporter they are. If the new company pulls back on it's support if it keeps going as usual. Would be interesting to see what other companies stepped up to the plate, if there are ones with as deep of pockets to do so. What happens if it was no longer the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, maybe Cinch National Finals Rodeo? Chances are pretty high nothing will change with it, but it is interesting to kind of think about the opportunities that would be presented to the other brands and what they would do with it. |

My Dad said something to the effect of: "Yoga pants and leggings should have weight limits instead of sizes... we all know those XXLs are going to try and squeeze in to a Small and that's not good for anyone... With weight limits at least they know they'd be lying." The logic made me LOL |

Pretty sure the "Cinch National Finals Rodeo" is a thing now or will be next year. |
