The Open Reign - Look here if you're looking for SUPER motivation to get your riding and life together. Just started this summer, but I see it really taking off!
She Rides to Win (actually more cowhorse focused, but has been great to read and has a neat facebook page too) Also has a great podcast too.
Podcasts -
Married with Horses - Jackie and Lane Jatzlau discuss all things horses and life. They've had some great guests.
Barrel Down - Our own WrapSnap puts this one out and I really enjoy it!

Location: Oklahoma | I have a youtube channel that I share my journey with God and my barrel horses. I don't have a name or any huge accomplishments but I thought I would share from someone that hasn't made it yet persay. and bringing 2 horses back from some serious injuries! |

Location: Oklahoma | Shelly Hares is my youtube channel One horse (not all at once) has epm, bone cyst, 2 supensories tears, bone cyst in left hock bottom of the tibia bone, and now the right hock is fusing with a bone spur and a flap at a grade 2 not time for surgery yet hoping not ever. 2nd horse just bought bout 3 mths ago he ducks 2nd barrel got him where he was starting not to duck decided to buy him and I be darn! he gets in fence 2 days after decision to buy and it turns into a tendon infection had to have surgery and then when he went in for tendon infection we found bone chip the bone chip had to be removed bc of area and now we think this why he was ducking the barrel! so 2 mths after the tendon infection surgery we did bone chip removal and I am 40 days after that surgery! I showed the surgeries and the process afterwards. The first horse I am trying different pain management and am fixing to start running this wed! The life of the barrel racer that hasn't made it yet but still believes that by the Grace of God anything is possible and dreams can come true! Everyone usually shares their story after they have a name why not the story before? everyone has to start somewhere. So I am putting myself on the chopping block! I don't care if I get a name or not just want to share passion for horses and hope it helps someone or encourages someone struggling that they are not alone. It is hard to share tho bc of judgmental! and I do have thin skin! lol I also share how God has impacted my life! |
